So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at low-info Boomers like my religions aunts. I have two questions:
a) Is anyone here who supports Trump bothered by lies like this?
b) Does anyone know what he's even talking about here? Like is there some grain of truth that he's embellishing on bigly?
There's nothing shaky about it, he very clearly falsified business records to hide the illegal use of campaign funds. The DA isn't going to go after a presidential candidate without being extremely sure of their case.
The use wasn't illegal , the campaign can pay people to sign an NDA that the campaign thinks benefits the candidate.
They falsified business records for the payment to be unknown to people reading the business record, to keep the event as secret as possible

This isn't a violation of federal laws rather of NYS laws, so the FEC can't surely be part of the picture at all

I think maybe? Mind you, publicly disclosing your hush money payments to the FEC kind of defeats the purpose of hush money.

He labelled it a legal expense because he gave the money to Cohen , which was the original maker of the payment.
If he wanted to do it legally he should have given the money directly to Daniels to begin with.
