Omaha Journey to High Stakes
Hi,
I had previously created a pb&c thread, but since I achieved most of my short and mid term goals I figured a new one was in order.
I have played Omaha for roughly 1.5 years.
Currently in an Omaha stable playing 1/2 PLO online.
Gym, school, poker is my life right now š
I want to grind up to high stakes PLO and play against some of the toughest competition.
After I grind a roll with the stable I want to transition primarily to live PLO and maybe also travel for good PLO games.
Primarily things I want to work on are eating more healthy, and not losing confidence in my plays when I am losing.

Fkn brutal run lately, if not getting colluded this is bottom 8% run. Not helpful that even though I've been cleared from a skill perspective, I have to win either 6 buy ins, or 9 buy ins of EV in order to move up to 3/6. Which I was really hoping would happen, but instead have just had a rough time.
Ignoring the PLO6 disaster, we're annihilating for 18.5bb/100 ev. Have made abt 3.2k in rakeback so far as well.

Heās been obsessed with anti-sweating this blog and being hateful since I called him out for RTA usage. This was after he reached out to me under false pretences and tried to get me to join him as a āstudentā, and I found out he was a well known grifter in the community.
If I feel like heās a net negative force on the blog Iāll just ban him again. But Iām sure itās entertaining to read his garbage every now and then LOL.
Very suspicious hand I played today
Looks like the way that we've seen accounts collude on ignition, TBH.
Only called bc I thought it looked a lot like collusion.
Believe that we are at the point where spotting collusion from stuff like back raises is unlikely to be effective. It's too easy to detect, and cheaters have moved onto more sophisticated strategies.
Theory wise, on this river I'm capped. When IP bets and gets raised, they can bluffcatch a good amount. If I had to guess I'm probably folding close to range. I can't really bluffcatch OOP with these pure bluffcatcher hands, since I also have to be concerned abt IPs range.
So what does this mean? OOP can generate EV by XRing value, and some bluffs. IP will have some bluffcatches that are better than folding, (ie they generate EV). Both of them have pot share.
For me though, after a bet and a raise I have virtually no pot share, since I'm not really continuing much.
This means that as a colluder, you can just print in this spot every time. And that's why historically the accounts do it on ignition. Because if the guy in the middle of the sandwich knows what's going on here in theory but not in practice, they won't do **** to stop it.
Turns out, IP was actually a stable member. And had

incredibly strange squeeze, but post seems fine. Still quite suspicious IMO, especially when considering that these two hands have zero overlap. Although, there's a point that if they were colluding, BTN would just rejam over me. But that would also be extremely obvious. IDK, weird situation.

What evidence do you have that Portemilio used RTA?
He was (self admittedly, thereās threads abt it) formerly a member of the Squid stable, that had members use RTA to beat the games for around 20bb/100ev.

I struggle to see why you throw around the RTA accusations at Portemelio, when (1) there's no direct evidence that he ever used RTA, and (2) your best friend/ coach is an admitted cheater but you defend him for doing the same.

Not friends with Panda, and Spork readily admits his involvement in the operation, unlike Port.

Additionally, Spork and I don't even interact outside of a discord server we are both in. I don't want to make it seem like we're closer than we really are.

I don't defend Sporks cheating at all actually, I think ppl are completely justified in not wanting to play with him, and telling other ppl that he used to use RTA. Definitely not my best friend, definitely not my coach.

"The RECENT wins can not be attributed... Due to timeline discrepancies". The fact that he was refunded money does not mean that the site doesn't have evidence of him cheating.

Here is Spork "the other players on the list are all 100% using postflop rta as I've firsthand seen them doing it and also was in the voice chat when they were trying to save face in their email". Portemilio wasn't on this list originally, as they were still friends at the time afaik from digging a little bit on 2p2. They later had a falling out. I believe this is why Spork was clear to say that there were a couple others he "may have forgotten about" (obviously this makes no sense how would you forget about ppl in a stable that small).

this is just fake news almost everyone in that stable was losing again just spewing false information. Noone won money there. I left early because i was 16k in makeup and was a losing player who had no idea how to play omaha at the time and was in school. Your ability to just make up information and throw it out as a fact is extremely damaging, which I've told you multiple times. Just like you said I was faking graphs but took it back because you realized I wasn't. I urge you to maybe come to the realization that maybe you're doing the same thing now. I've been playing PLO for years.
fyi, spork saying "he wasn't able to hold an intelligent conversation" is actually braindead. He would try to argue with me that solver outputs are wrong and his plays are better and i would tell him to check the solution because he had no basis for what he was saying, and then when'd he check the solution and see he was wrong he'd just cry and mope. I'm an extremely exploitative player but my baseline is GTO and I know how to play most spots in the game tree. One's ability to maybe not explain their thoughts as well as they execute them doesnt mean theyre cheating. NOT PROOF!

Obviously you know my concerns, it’s not easy to come up with appropriate precautions to protect myself against RTA, and prevent you dipping early on into the match. Not exactly sure what I’d want as specifics, nor is it a priority of mine. But if you want to come up with a set of rules for a HU match, I’m sure we can figure something out. Escrow required, obviously.

But literally every single student he has ever coached is a losing bum.
KnoxKnox is one of his top students, and he's break even over 100k+ hands. Most of the other bums are losing.
