I'm looking to replace my $30 Timex digital watch that I love.
Imagine wearing a Patek Philippe or AP and someone tells you "nice watch, looks like a Rolex!"

Yeah there is no universe that exists where any of those watches look like a Rolex.
Rolexes are overpriced just because of the name. The last mechanical I picked up was an Orient pilots watch, which I wear with a dark green perlon strap.
