To reiterate some of the points:

4. Wishing Harm on other posters will result in an immediate timeout.
5. Genocidal statements such as "Kill 'em all" etc, are no longer permissible in the thread.
If anyone has any questions about the above, please PM me. I don't want a discussion about the rules to derail the content of this thread. If anything needs clarifying, I will do that in this thread.

Is it allowed to say someone claiming his own citizens are worth more than foreigner a racist? Even if it's foreigner of the same race as many citizens?
Like take Korea where race is literally non controversially the same in the north and the south.

No, that wouldn't be acceptable. If you mean the use of starvation as a weapon, that's a crime and the Israelis have been warned about it. They can't 'solve Gaza' because they can't afford the necessary troop commitment, they can't get rid of Hamas and they wouldn't know what to do next even if they did. And if they 'cut all aid forever' the responsible cabinet members would certainly face international arrest warrants.
It is a matter of fact that Israel is letting far less aid in than is necessary to keep Gaza’s civilians from starving.
Hamas shooting rockets at crossings to make aid even harder to deliver doesn’t help but if Israel wanted to let more food through, they could.
That's a matter for the court.

Nobody thinks they could solve it this time around. But they can restore deterrence and buy time, and possibly space for dialogue

There is a proximity thing as well meaning that we are more emotionally affected by deaths near us than on the other side of the world, but that's mainly evolutionary and it's nothing to do with the value of a human life.

It's always predicated on a power imbalance. No one cares if some Canadians want to call Americans a bunch of obese burger-eating morons and some Americans want to call Canadians a bunch of moose-****ers, and no one is going to slate either group for being racist.
