You don't understand U.S. politics nearly as well as you think you do.
Man, before you know it, they'll be congratulating him on remembering "person, man, woman, camera, TV". Oh, wait.
I think he's more or less correct there. The GOP is an opposition party.
DonkJr, what's pertinent is federal government's policies. What if any policies will the next administration try to instill and sustain, or hinder, or terminate?
The next president's age and health is only a factor if we're concerned about the next vice president's willingness and ability to continue the next president's policies. The character of the administration, it's integrity to uphold its promises and retain the confidence of other nation's governments is a factor to consider.
Among the reasons I'm opposed to Trump is he personally has always, even when he was president, sought and acted in his own interests with less regard for the best interests of our nation. I'm unconcerned about the sound of candidate's voices. Respectfully Supposn
They have mandatory retirement ages for pilots, seems reasonable to have them for Presidents and Senators.
He did good because he answered all the questions? JFC...
That is no more true of the GOP than it is of the Democratic party, and probably less true in the era of Trump.
maybe not but i am pretty sure i am the person who isn't MAGA who spends more time talking with MAGA people who writes in this forum
Centrist or even rightwing democrats on immigration and other topics poll 8-10-12% higher than Biden in purple or red areas.
That doesn't look like a cult at all, rather people motivated by precise policy preferences
This is partly correct, of course, but not entirely so.
The president is more than a basket of policy positions. People consistently underestimate the likelihood that a U.S. president will have to deal with an acute crisis. That's a problem if the president isn't up the task. And it's an especially big problem if the president fails to appreciate that he isn't up to the task.
The existence of conservative voters motivated by policy preferences is not proof of non-existence of a Trump cult. I did not say that every conservative voter was a Trump cultist.
best part was when Trump used called Biden "basically a Palestinian" as an insult.
next best part was when Trump just straight up said we should steal the oil from Venezuela and Syria.
plenty of "left leaning" people had been criticizing Biden's sundowning for months and years. they were called conspiracy theorists and Russian trolls.
Me
Where were you bullied and persecuted this time, Victor? I didn't see that happening here.
we are at the "silent Biden voters according to MSNBC" stage
With how relatively poorly Trump did in that debate (obv Biden was the Titanic), I don't get why they don't announce a Newsom-Obama ticket inside the next 5 days, win, and Michelle bails a year in for personal reasons.
I gotta think that ticket becomes an instant favorite even on short time. Michelle is asked to give 16 months for her country kind of thing,.
I don't think Michelle wants it
But i agree it probably becomes the favorite
Any change is probably a bad look for Kamala though
no, I just think that your post ignores that most Dem supporters were extremely supportive of Biden's mental ability up until last night while many others had been pointing out his shortcomings for years.

Thats the state of things.
If anyone watched the debate last night and thinks Trump is the obvious vote, you've lost the plot. He was hopped up on adderall and can't answer simple questions or keep a single coherent line of thought past one sentence. Hes amalgamating multiple lies into simple responses. The whole country is cooked. Just watch the Obama and Romney debate from 15 years ago. The intellectual drain is on full display.
Someone is going to win, one side is going to dunk on the other, throw insults, pretend to be happy, then we get 4 more years of misery. **** you all
Ive only seen one mistake from last night. He did way better than I thought. I gave it a 25% chance he has a heart attack
That would indeed be a dismaying side-by-side comparison.
Side by side analysis of the actual lincoln douglas debates and the trump biden debate last night.
I kind of agree. he really looked no different than he has over the last few months.
4 more years of misery was exactly my thought as well.. This is a nightmare
Realistically it’s at least 4 more years of misery. Misery tends to compound over time
So the economy isn't as great as they say?
