2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of January. Through 95 drafts, my exposures are below. The player order is based on current ADP. Some of these ADPs have been quite fluid over the last 3 months, with FAs and rookies moving the most. Most of my exposures are structurally driven, rather than player take driven. Especially at this point in the game, pre-draft.
But there are some players I simply couldn't avoid going heavy on, like McBride and Andrews in the 5th round. I'm actually quite heavy all of the top TEs, minus LaPorta and Kincaid. I also tried to make sure I had at least 1 TE by the end of round 8, with Ferguson being the last of the group.
Also took approaches like attacking Nabers and Odunze harder than MHJ, at their relative prices.
What do we like and not like?
Rookie season is also upon us. Redraft is still 3.5 months away from heating up, but there will be rookie drafts, dynasty startups, and best ball drafts leading up until then.
Good luck to all, and may injuries and variance be kind.

10 Milly drafts so far
No top 4 picks
5 drafts with the 9th pick or later
In hindsight I think taking a 3rd RB over Kittle would've been better. Could have taken Warren, Ekeler, Monty, Moss, or Singletary.
QB - Dak, Tua
RB - Jacobs, Mixon, Charb, Dobbins, CEH, Guerendo
WR - AJ, Waddle, Flowers, Godwin, Cooks, Jeudy, Mims, OBJ, Turpin
TE - Kittle, Likely, Jonnu
Love the thread so I thought I would contribute . I started with the 9th pick DK
Will Levis
Russ Wilson
Bo nix
Justin Jefferson
Stefon diggs
George Pickens
Rashee rice
Ladd mcconkey
Romeo doubs
Luke mccaffrey
Marvin mims
Devon achane
Najee Harris
Chase brown
Tony pollard
Jaleel McLaughlin
Evan hull
Pat freimuth
Jatavion sanders
Greg dulchich
How’s every one thoughts on this lineup
Your wrs and rbs are good. I’m also really high on Muth. As much as I love Levis this year your qbs leave a lot to be desired .
Definitely fragile at QB and TE2-3, but I can see a path. I'd have rather Russ be McCarthy or Fields, but I think there is a chance the community is underselling Russ. He could be playing in w17, and he could be playing well in w17. Also, Tomlin isn't the type of guy to make a rash decision. I think the Steelers might need to be completely out of the playoff hunt for us to see Fields, and given Tomlin's history, that seems unlikely. Plus, what if he's still got some Seattle Russ, and Denver was just that bad? Russ seems like the perfect kind of guy for Smith's offense.
I wanted to fire a Schnauzer 3 and test out the 10 second clock, but it's impressively closed already. I fired the 4 and tried out the 15 second clock. I only autoed on one pick, while I was deciding if I wanted Maye in a 3 QB, not greatly correlated, build, or stick to 2 QB.
CJ, Dimes, Maye
Mondre, Najee, Singletary, Ford, Wright, CEH
AJB, Waddle, Tank, Worthy, Downs, Burton, Slayton
Andrews, Njoku
But have you seen the Steeler's schedule? Especially their last 8 games? If they make the playoffs then Tomlin should be lock for COTY.
This is really good imo
I feel like I may have a leak where I’m taking wr5 too early if I go 0 rb and any of the guys Jamo and higher are still left.
I like this where you get both Mondre and Najee instead of wr5. I’ve only been getting 1 of that group and then going w like Javonte at rb2
Drafted this just now. I didn’t really need a 3rd qb, but all the WRs I wanted went at the end, so I kinda just scrambled and took Maye
Also wanted to get Nico shares bc I’m way underweight (not on purpose)
I had a spot I was unsure of. Engram fell like 20 picks past ADP, but I had Laporta and I ended up taking jamo (which I just said I wanted to stop doing haha) also past ADP.
Should I have taken engram that late?
Qb - CJ, Goff, Maye
Rb - Bijan, Javonte, Singletary, Lloyd, Mitchell, Pierce
Wr - Nico, Dell, Godwin, Btjr, Jamo, Pearsall, Bateman
Te - Laporta, Henry
I like taking Engram here. It's an opportunity to go bully TE without spending too much draft capital. This is the only way I go bully TE. He's a big upgrade to your number two TE. He can be used in your flex. He can keep you afloat if Laporta misses time. He can be leverage over the Laporta teams if you advance and Laporta were to go down. We know Engram is gonna get plenty of targets. We don't know what the target situation with Jamo will be.
Taking Jamo is fine though since you have Goff.
Really like this triple rookie qb team. Got sniped on Nix so had to backdoor a Maye stack
Qb - Jayden, JJ, Maye
Rb - Monty, Swift, Javonte, Chandler, R Davis
Wr - JJ, Nico, Nabers, Mclaurin, Addison, Wicks, Mims, Bourne
Te - Andrews, Musgrave
I think the Steelers know exactly what they have in Russ. He should be able to keep this team competitive. I think the Steelers best case plan is for Russ to play well enough this year while Fields shows them behind the scenes what he can do. Then move on from Russ and sign Fields to a long term contract that isn't overly expensive. Not having to pay the 4th round pick instead of a 6th would be a bonus. The only thing left over from the Seattle days is the ability of Russ to make off script plays. Russ really wasn't Russ his last two years in Seattle. He's lost his elite ability to keep a play alive. We saw the limitations of Russ in Denver which Seattle did a great job of disguising. Wilson put up respectable numbers in Denver last year but if you take a deeper look he was pretty bad. Two teams have moved on from him. One team payed him 85 million to do so. This team is gonna run the ball a ton. They have nobody behind Pickens. Wilson has a history of not throwing to his TE's or throwing over the middle. I'd prefer to grab Derek Carr. At least I know he is gonna be the guy this year. If Fields wasn't lurking I think Russ would be a fine but boring pick late in drafts.
I did the same in a recent draft with Caleb, JJ, Maye. Jayden may have a little more upside but a lower ceiling than Caleb.
I'm fading Swift so I don't like your RBs.
The WRs and TE's are very nice.
I have a lot of Godwin, and this is the first time I've paired him with Baker.
QB - Tua, Baker, Nix
RB - Bijan, Brooks, Zeke, Chubb, Estime
WR - Waddle, Devonta, Higgins, Godwin, Odunze, Downs, Wandale, Mims, OBJ
TE - Engram, Jonnu, Mayer
Swifts my highest owned player haha
I think it’s a mistake to full fade any of the RBs in that range though. They’re so cheap and all of them have the potential to be league winners
Very good team. I have basically 0 obj as I’m pretty sure he’s done, but I understand going for it with Tua
Yeah I try to limit my Jonnu and OBJ exposure except when I have Tua.
I thought I had 1 more pick than I had when I took JJ, really wanted to get a WSH bring back and take rondale and don’t think this team needs 3qbs. Probably could’ve been fine at 5rbs too
Qb - Jayden, Purdy, JJ
Rb - CMC, Moss, Zeke, Chandler, Gibson, B Allen
Wr - Deebo, DK, Mclaurin, Addison, Btjr, Pearsall, Raymond
Te - McBride, Sinnott
By fade I mean I'm taking very little. I do have one team so far with Swift. If he falls in any of my future drafts I might take him again.
QB) Kyler, Rodgers
RB) Henry, Najee, Benson, B Robinson, Charbonnet, Tracy
WR) G Wilson, M Harrison, Pittman, Godwin, Polk, Burton, Corley, Z Jones
TE) Pitts, Otten.
Would’ve been nice to get a cheap bill or ram as a bring back (Davis, Knox, Demarcus Robinson), but otherwise looks good
Who did you take Pittman over? I’m trying to be underweight on him relative to the guys in that range (Flowers, Tank, Higgins, Kupp)
I would have taken Jamo over either Addison or BT Jr.
I think that’s wrong. Even with bring back value I don’t think you can take Jamo over those guys. Addison is like 2 tiers better and btjr is pretty significantly better too
I thought about bring backs but opted to add an extra guy in the QB stacks. I could have gone Knox but I liked my TE room. Tyrone Tracy was still available in the 18th and I like him as a dart throw. Demarcus went too early.
Tank and Kupp were gone. I hate this area of the draft. In the moment I thought I would take a share of Pittman and hope to get AR which didn't happen. I don't love the pick but I don't hate it. Pittman is one of my fades. I think this is my second time taking him. I was debating him or Flowers. I chose the potential correlation. I'm not taking a lot of Higgins and I can't quite explain why. I kind of have a feeling this is gonna be a go nuclear year for Chase.
That makes sense. I have Pittman at like 6% so I’m not completely fading either and I agree he is nice to take there bc AR is often available
Chase having a huge yr doesn’t preclude Tee from having one. I feel like Tee is pretty mispriced, but he failed last year so I get not taking a lot of him
QB) Prescott, Nix
RB) Pacheco, Walker, Elliot, Lloyd, CEH, Shipley
WR) Lamb, D Smith, Deebo, Allen, Cooks, Burton, Bateman, Franklin
TE) Kittle, Bowers
