2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of January. Through 95 drafts, my exposures are below. The player order is based on current ADP. Some of these ADPs have been quite fluid over the last 3 months, with FAs and rookies moving the most. Most of my exposures are structurally driven, rather than player take driven. Especially at this point in the game, pre-draft.
But there are some players I simply couldn't avoid going heavy on, like McBride and Andrews in the 5th round. I'm actually quite heavy all of the top TEs, minus LaPorta and Kincaid. I also tried to make sure I had at least 1 TE by the end of round 8, with Ferguson being the last of the group.
Also took approaches like attacking Nabers and Odunze harder than MHJ, at their relative prices.
What do we like and not like?
Rookie season is also upon us. Redraft is still 3.5 months away from heating up, but there will be rookie drafts, dynasty startups, and best ball drafts leading up until then.

The time to get one is when I got Kincaid in the 5th round. I could have drafted R. White, Mixon, or Walker instead.

Was mostly saying you don’t need a 3rd qb if you have Josh .
This was a fun one. I pretty much threw out ADP early and tried something. Unfortunately this draft ended in disaster. All QBs were off the board so I had to throw a couple late darts. I may not have a backup.
I tried to get as many players from the KC/Pitt week 17 game as I could just for the heck of it.

This team is solid . Worst case scenario you take a 0 one week but I think Minshew wins that job .
I was going to take Malik Washington last, but someone got him before me.
So I was left with either taking a 3rd TE in Ja'Tavion Sanders or a 3rd QB in Minshew. Taking a 9th WR is certainly an option as well.

On DK, I think you’re supposed to go 3 stacked QBs + 3 TEs with this build
The Packers and Colts WRs are two areas where I don't really see it like consensus does.
GB:
1. I don't think the WR room is ambiguous. I think when healthy, Reed, Watson, and Doubs are clearly the top 3 WRs and that Wicks will struggle to even see 50% of the snaps in a given week. I get a little long winded sometimes, but I just really enjoy talking and analyzing fantasy.
How not to build a best ball roster. I'm interested to see the finished product. Let's see if they take 8 straight WRs to finish it off.
Haha, it looks like you quoted before I edited and added a little more context. Not my team, but I noticed it when I was going through one of my slow drafts and had to chuckle.

Trevor, Herbert, Levis, Maye, Carr
I wanted Baker or Levis as my QB3. Almost went with Bryce when he went 20 past his ADP, but someone got him a few spots before me.
Was also going to take Trevor as my QB1, but got sniped and pivoted to Tua. I'm fine with it, but I think Trevor would have been better for this roster.
