You’ll have to see it but less than 200 meters away given the layout. That’s like nothing, a typical basic trainee would hit from there more often than not. Unless they have the story wrong I can’t fathom a lapse in security like that. At least not for a former president or major party candidate

It has not yet been confirmed by anyone other than Trump that he was actually struck by a bullet and not debris as earlier speculated. Assuming it was the bullet, I've looked at the video several times since I first heard that, and angles will be angles but it looks to me like he would have had to sneeze to get there.
But he's much luckier than the other three victims!

I will be interested to see what info they can get on this shooter, will it a be unknown with very little back story or will it all come out the guys a pro shooter and that it clearly was a deliberate skim the ear shot 😃

That’s exactly how I would expect him to react if he survived a shooting. Remember when he got covid? He couldn’t just stay in the hospital and get better. He had to go outside and show how tough he was.
How do they instantly know where the sniper is? Can you tell by the sound of the shots?

trump has been the most polarizing and hated man in america for 8 years now and has done plenty of outdoor rallies. how is this the first time someone has done something like this and how was suddenly magically security was so **** someone had the opportunity was someone less than 150 meters away from him able to get a free shot with a sniper rifle

Well yeah, but how do they even know immediately where to aim? Can you see the sniper from 100m away if he's lying on a rooftop behind a ledge and only the barrel of his rifle and the top of his head is protruding? Surely you need some time to scan the area with binoculars first or something, no?

Unless you are highly trained, the human tendency is to self perseve... shrink down your profile, flinch, duck your head... so YEAH, snipers saved DjT's life.
The video CLEARLY shows recoil from the sniper rifle BEFORE DjT reaches for his ear. These are .50 sniper rounds and travel well in excess of 2000fps... he was dead in about 2 seconds after engagement. The SS didn't take time to find and acquire the target, he was ALREADY targeted and being tracked... and eliminated VERY quickly

Once again your relying on sound... BIG mistake.
If you're a SS agent and you see someone crawling on a roof, your job isn't to start shooting... you need to be sure or see a weapon before you take the shot. Stop being stupid.
