2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of January. Through 95 drafts, my exposures are below. The player order is based on current ADP. Some of these ADPs have been quite fluid over the last 3 months, with FAs and rookies moving the most. Most of my exposures are structurally driven, rather than player take driven. Especially at this point in the game, pre-draft.
But there are some players I simply couldn't avoid going heavy on, like McBride and Andrews in the 5th round. I'm actually quite heavy all of the top TEs, minus LaPorta and Kincaid. I also tried to make sure I had at least 1 TE by the end of round 8, with Ferguson being the last of the group.
Also took approaches like attacking Nabers and Odunze harder than MHJ, at their relative prices.
What do we like and not like?
Rookie season is also upon us. Redraft is still 3.5 months away from heating up, but there will be rookie drafts, dynasty startups, and best ball drafts leading up until then.
Good luck to all, and may injuries and variance be kind.

How much is too much of a stack ? Currently on pace to get qb wr wr rb te from same team.
Watson at 196? I just got him at 179 and I was thrilled.
This team is really strong.
Nothing wrong with that?
Texans or Bears?
Bucs but got sniped on baker
That sucks!
Fast puppy. pick 11
The drafts are getting weirder and weirder.
I don't have a lot of correlation but I like my players. All of my QBs were 5- 20 picks past ADP so I couldn't resist. I got sniped on Mitchell and Downs. There were several other positional picks that were way past ADP that I couldn't resist. I picked them over correlation. Maybe a mistake.
My RBs are fragile.
I was very happy to get Garret and Puka. They correlate in week 16 as well.
I've never seen Hollywood fall this far so I figured it was a good time to take him since I have very little.
QB) AR, Jayden, Deshawn
RB) Warren, Brooks, Charbonnet, Lloyd, Irving
WR) Wilson, Puka, dJ Moore, Tank, Hollywood, Legette, Baker
TE) Njoku, Musgrave, Sinnott
I like . I’d have taken another rb over Watson though. I know he stacks with njoku but I don’t think you need 3 qbs .
AR and Jayden have the same bye.
Thanks!
Ah that makes more sense . I don’t have byes memorized . If one of your rb lotto tickets pays off that team is phenomenal .
Qb : Tua , Herbert
Rb : Rashaad, Mostert, Dobbins, Gibson , Tracy , Ceh , Estime
Wr: Lamb, Kupp , Evans, Pickens , Godwin , Thielen , Bateman , Tolbert
Te: Kittle , Bowers, Kmet
Little cheat sheet I made for DK. Shows the QBs that are most likely to fall to you based on where you start (assuming a player ahead doesn't reach) thru the first 15 rounds.
Doesn't mean you have to play those QBs. For example if you have the 3rd pick and take Tyreek. You can still reach for Tua at 99, or bank on the value if he's still available at 118.
You'll need some luck with the RBs after Mostert. I've noticed we as a group don't take a lot of Dobbins.
Was there an RB you could take instead of Kmet. I don't know where the targets are gonna come from for him. G Everett spent 5 years with Waldron. I'm a little concerned based on where he goes.
The rest of the team is great.
Could have taken Ty Chandler . That prolly is a better pick than Kmet .
I still have some just in case shares, but it’s hard to believe with his injury history.
I believe the Chargers are mostly underpriced while also having a tough time getting a lot with the way my constructions go.
I also just don’t really believe in Palmer, QJ, or any other receiver, relative to their ADPs, besides upside shots on Ladd. And that was nothing to do with Herbert.
I’ll be heaviest on Vidal chasing the unknown upside at his price.
Having that bad of a rookie year by QJ is very concerning.
Just in case shares of Dobbs makes a lot of sense.
I love Vidal but I think he's a bit expensive for a guy that could easily be a zero all year. I'm also not fading him because I think he could be really good if given the opportunity.
I don't mind Palmer if I think I need to pivot to a Herbert stack. He'll be like a Romeo Doubs. Boring but productive with not much upside.
Would it be worth the $20 to just troll everyone and draft a QB every pick until the top 10-13 QBs are off the board?
On dk? You can only draft 5
Aw dang. That wouldn't be as fun then.
Ended up with naked stroud today bc he fell to 86 and then I got sniped on Schultz/Pierce and didn’t feel like taking Noah brown over Hyatt.
How far does stroud have to fall to take him (potentially) naked?
Qb - Stroud, Maye, Dimes
Rb - Najee, Spears, singletary, Charb, Allgeier
Wr - Puka, London, Pittman, Nuk, Rice, Polk, Pop, Hyatt
Te - Laporta, Juwan
F stacks lol. I like this team a lot .
If I did that I would pick a 3 dollar contest. It still wouldn't be worth it.
Round 9 or 10 feels about right but just a gut feeling.
I have a feeling Stroud is gonna be a better NFL QB than a fantasy QB. I'd hate to have him and not reap the benefits of his receivers when he has big games.
From the 11 spot. I'm supposed to draft my RB2 over JSN. I can still get Caleb in the next round, and then draft Charb or Fant as my correlation.
QB - Allen, Caleb, Fields
RB - Gibbs, Robinson Jr., Dowdle, Gibson, Mitchell, Foreman
WR - Wilson, Hollywood, Reed, Odunze, JSN Mooney, Roman, Tez, Lazard
TE - Kincaid, Kmet
Saw someone use their last 2 picks to draft an unstacked Minshew and AOC.
Another guy in the same draft didn't take a WR (Watson) until round 7.
I don't know my chances of making the finals, but I will be shocked if I'm not batting at least .500 when it comes to making the playoffs with the way people construct their rosters on DK.
Wanted to get Nix as a security measure, but someone took him 20 spots ahead of ADP.
QB - Dak, Carr
RB - Moss, Pollard, Benson, Lloyd, Miller, Estime
WR - Lamb, Waddle, Devonta, Dell, Hollywood, Meyers, Mims, Slayton, Hardman
TE - Ferguson, Fant, Juwan
