What do the level 5/6 chests give? I got level $25 for the level 4 chests. Wasn't sure if it's different than the system globally

When you say verified does that mean geolocated only? Or will I also have to provide account verification like state ID, utility bill and the like?
Not that any of that would be an issue just trying to estimate how long before I'll be able to start playing once I move.

I work in the industry though not at PS. Still, they're probably the same as the places I work.
You can open an account from anywhere. If your account passes automatic verification, it's open. You don't need to provide anything because you passed their KYC verification.
You also can deposit from anywhere into an open account. You just cannot do anything with the funds. Even withdrawing without gameplay can be problematic, more so if it's do a different method. So don't deposit unless you are cool with the funds sitting there until you are in-state.
The second you are within the border of NY or MI (since we're talking about PS NJ/MI) you can play.
If your account does not pass automatic KYC verification, you need to send documents to verify who you are. This is always a photo ID and sometimes there are other requirements (SS card, address verification). But none of that should be necessary if you pass verification and open the account.
If you can successfully log in and you don't get messages that say you are not verified, or you need to complete registration, your account should be open.
Stars refuses to connect over my home wifi, but will connect over my phone's hotspot on my laptop. Has anyone had this problem and fixed it somehow?
Can we please stop making hellscape tables sitting 4-5 regs on a table? Posting because it's been pretty bad the past few days. I try to leave tables when they get like this asap, but playing musical chairs gets old.
This benefits nobody (except Stars) ... Recs on such tables lose faster. Regs generally breaking even / barely winning vs other regs. I have no problem playing with other regs even when they have an edge on me, but not going to play them on a full or nearly full reg table.
Empty seats fill fast with recs on this site, there is no reason to do this unless you're some kind of sado-masochist.

Every table that runs has at least one rec. I don't think you can get more than 1 rec since there's too many pros trying to make a living grinding small stakes poker

Many hours of the day, 30NL/50NL/100NL has multiple tables with at least 3 recs. Even 200NL tables don't look that bad some of the day. Still, there seem to be some regs who just sit any table without a care who is on the table.
If you care about profit ... makes no sense. Most days when I start a table after 10 am, it fills up within 5-10 min, sometimes they even fill up almost instantly. The rec traffic is there at the lower stakes.
This is of course less true at 200NL+. I'm mostly referring to 30-100NL.
Ah ok, I was more referring to 200nl+. It's unfortunate that 10-100 are now more strained as well, not looking great for the ecosystem
I could be wrong, but ever since the merger the reg v rec ratio has shifted imo. Odd, because I assumed more players meant more recs, but perhaps the increase in regs just wipes them out faster. Time of day is a big factor as well, certain times it feels almost pointless to log on.
What I like to do sometimes is start new tables, it's a great way to get to play some recs. Eventually other regs will sit as well. Sometimes I'll go HU with another reg and a rec will join. Eventually, if you start up enough new tables, regs won't be able to join because they'll be playing too many tables.

My all in EV win rate this year has been 7bb/100 with 10-12 tables ... 4-6 tables its 9.2bb/100. Giving up edge but more than making up for it by volume. Once I permanently move up to 100NL and higher guessing I'll have to reconsider this.

The ratio is definitely worse for MI players. I warned people it would happen, but for some reason pretty much everyone seems to act like either there is no difference, or that it's better. Really, I think it's just down to the behavior of regs joining games instead of making new ones. Sometimes I'll see waitlists 4-5 regs deep when there are already 3-4 regs on the table, and then I make another game and it fills pretty quick ... usually a decent game quality too.
There are only a few regs who I see starting games on a regular basis including myself.

Anyone else unable to open Chests? Getting an error message "unable to find completed bar". My balance hasn't been credited yet, and the chest icon still says "1" ... but upon opening it that message comes up instead of the animation.

Now I lost a few thousand points and the progress bar rolled back slightly (back to the prior chest). Support says they’re aware of the issue and it’s being worked on.
Seems that the site is still down for maintenance (was announced - but seems like it's going a bit longer than planned unless I'm remembering wrong)
