Anyone knows if tips that are paid in Manila's casinos and poker rooms actually beeing given to dealers? I talked to the floor and he was kind of trying not to answer.
I think they arent at Okada or maybe split between all employees. I say this because a player was mentioning tipping her but wanted to wait till she was finished with her down.
Can anyone recommend options to send large sums of cash in 10K USD increments, from the Philippines to the U.S. What are some good options?

This is aweful to see and only lessons can be learned from such a tragic event. Bottom line is do not trust strangers no matter how nice they may seem. Also if you are a person handling large amounts of cash in such a poor country is logical that bad actors will try to take advantage. Never tell people exactly what your doing for your own safety.

I'm retired about 2.5 hrs south of Cebu City and go to the city for an overnighter about once a month. Mostly I go to play at Voyager poker club. With many many years of experience in the business I have found this card room to be the "cleanest" in terms of cheating worries. It's a good honest game. Sure you have the horrible soft play every once in a while. But those players will even change from that when they have a big hand or are stuck, lol. They have a few shills to hold games together as needed. Not hard to pick out for me. Other players might not see it. But there's only maybe 2 of them that are decent players. That doesn't mean the others are mega fish. Just not good.
The rake all over Cebu is CRAZY HIGH! Higher than Las Vegas by a mile! Example if we call 50p-100p the same as $1-$2, the rake is 10%, $8 max, plus $0.50 jackpot. That's MASSIVE. Yet it's still beatable! The games are good.
***I haven't been on 2+2 in probably 10+ years. I just logged in to check on some things for a computer build since I'm playing on PStars again. My days here go to before the turn of the century. :-)
