If you think anything in Trump's tax returns suggests he is "just like all of us" then you're on another planet. He paid 0 in federal income taxes in 11 of the 18 years there were returns for and had gross losses in the tens of millions of dollars in some years. The schemes used to avoid paying tax were so complex, and in some cases questionably legal, that not a single part of it would look even remotely similar to the average 0.1%er's tax returns, let alone the median person's. I don't know about you but I also don't have hundreds of millions of dollars of personally guaranteed debt either, which is another thing that was found in his returns.
