What most people would label "the extreme Left" are supported, in their evaluations of the threats imposed by either of the two dominant political parties, by many of the most esteemed and accomplished academics and intellectuals.

You keep thinking that I, or people like me, above all want to be special or superior in some way. That's just a total falsehood and you should stop thinking it. It's more like there are these extremely greedy people in the world who are hellbent on accumulating power and material possessions beyond normal human comprehension. In the process they create extreme, widespread social precarity. These people manipulate people like you into supporting them. Then people like me just try to point out to people like you that you are being manipulated so that we might, together, thwart these greedy people who you, for whatever reason, cannot seem to recognize as a group acting in a group interest against you and your group.

I don't want any recognition for this. I just want you to, for the love of God, stop, eyes wide open, marching into the polls like a zombie and supporting people who are our mutual enemy.

While your whole post is relevant to this point, the bold parts are of particular note. You very clearly think you are smarter and more enlightened than everybody else around here. It is self-evident by not only what you post, but by the tone of your posts. You think you are one of these "insanely smart people" that is special in that you have the ability to see the world for how it really is, while the rest of us sheep are just to blind to see the world from your POV, which is why we do things as stupid as vote. There are a few young people in my office that share your POV, but I can at least excuse their immaturity as they are essentially college-aged children. I doubt her VP pick will make much of a difference its going to be all about her. She has had a great start and will see how she continues and given Trumps resort to going back to his rant and raving she has a great chance of winning

If you look at bills Harris sponsored or endorsed in the last 3+ years; it is mostly about using the federal govt to give special privileges to women and minorities; and to support various forms of criminal behavior.

The whole "she is a cop" narrative actually appears to be a false flag to deflect from her general very far left legislative record as Vice President. If she has any centrist policy positions, they certainly were not evidenced in the last 3 years.

we are talking about someone who was 4th in her state, and polled worse than warren, sanders and biden

she was clueless in those pres debates when it came to foreign and also policies involving economics and healthcare which biden really maneuvered well before S.C and after. call me what you will but she was less direct than trump ever was in any of her deabtes. I assume its gotten better in 4 years, I can see WHY theey want to debate trump sicne it will be all style no substance which I would think actually works in both of their favor

I was watching the production quality on some of her tiktok releases and I was thinking they were prepping for this for a while as well. Probably working it behind the scenes before the official announcement so they could come out hot. It wouldn't even surprise me if Biden held out just long enough to get people so riled up that Kamala Harris suddenly seemed like Barak Obama.

What if Joseph even running was all just a big act, to give Kamala a boost when she finally did announce, and make it seem like the party is listening to what the voters want?
