2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of January. Through 95 drafts, my exposures are below. The player order is based on current ADP. Some of these ADPs have been quite fluid over the last 3 months, with FAs and rookies moving the most. Most of my exposures are structurally driven, rather than player take driven. Especially at this point in the game, pre-draft.
But there are some players I simply couldn't avoid going heavy on, like McBride and Andrews in the 5th round. I'm actually quite heavy all of the top TEs, minus LaPorta and Kincaid. I also tried to make sure I had at least 1 TE by the end of round 8, with Ferguson being the last of the group.
Also took approaches like attacking Nabers and Odunze harder than MHJ, at their relative prices.
What do we like and not like?
Rookie season is also upon us. Redraft is still 3.5 months away from heating up, but there will be rookie drafts, dynasty startups, and best ball drafts leading up until then.
Good luck to all, and may injuries and variance be kind.

I'm at like 11% Dobbins but also 6% Vidal
Getting my McMillan shares up
Qb - Hurts, Carr
Rb - Zamir, Pollard, Dowdle, Chandler, R Davis, Shipley
Wr - Reek, Olave, Nabers, Nuk, Keon, Wandale, McMillan, Corley
Te - Pitts, Goedert
Great team!
Mine is flipped. 10% Vidal, 5% Dobbins, 5% Gus, but I’ve basically stopped drafting Gus. Too many better options around Gus at ADP.
That whole backfield seems like a trap, even with the Roman rushing narrative.
Did any of you see the video showing Aiyuk embracing a couple coaches in either an "I've just been traded" or "Thank you for the new contract" type of way? Or maybe he's just saying hello. I just saw it on Liams stream. It could be nothing.
14% Singletary. Wouldn't mind getting up to at least 18%
Got sniped on all my qb stacks… is Kyler/Carr too light (bbm). Didn’t need 3 TEs, but once Nix got sniped I panicked and just correlated Juwan
Qb - Kyler, Carr
Rb - Swift, Brob, C Brown, Charb, Dowdle
Wr - Chase, Olave, DK, Rice, Odunze, M Wilson, Franklin, Whittington (lol)
Te - Mcbride, Fant, Juwan
Have 12%, pretty happy to try to hold there. He’s a solid rb talent wise, but not very explosive
In a draft and this guy started in this order
Breece
Chubb
Kamara
Mostert
Another guys start
Kupp
Diggs
Mahomes
Dak
Plus, like that blurb says, that offense is still likely to be in the bottom third of the league.
I’m at 12% too but lately have been taking C Brown, Spears, BRob, and sometimes Javonte, over Singletary.
Not to mention, third team in career as a 26 year old RB is never a great sign, even with the Daboll familiarity.
This was a weird draft . Was hard to get any stacks . Lucky
To get 1
Qb : Purdy , Goff , Herbert
Rb: Jacobs , Rashaad , Dobbins , Gibson , Estime , Dillon
Wr: Lamb, Adams , Deebo , Hollywood, Ridley , Chark , Juann Jennings , Rondale
Te : Ferguson , Schultz , Hunter Henry
Not exactly a revelation, but interesting to visually see the breakdown.
How bad is it to go 3/57/5 ? My only Te is Taysom and it’s round 16.
Got Purdy 33 spots past ADP. Guess people are over reacting to that bad practice he had.
QB - Hurts, Purdy, Dimes
RB - Najee, Singletary, Dowdle, LLoyd, Kendre, Shipley
WR - AJB, Nico, DJM, Hollywood, Odunze, Pearsall, Slayton, Franklin, Tez
TE - Kittle, Goedert
I would still stick with 3 (maybe 4), but never 5.
Had a bit of a unique lu bc Tua fell to 150
Iosivas got taken at 180something
Qb - Burrow, Tlaw, Tua
Rb - Saquon, Mostert, Spears, Gibson, Herbert
Wr - JJ, Waddle, Tee, Kirk, Nuk, Gabe, Boyd, M Washington
Te - Engram, Jonnu
Debated grabbing Gesicki or Dulsich, but felt like Engram has consistent enough weeks to let me go for Malik instead
OK guys please take me down a peg or 2 but I'm buzzing after this draft in the DK $10 5 max entries. I got so many players in the 1st 8 rounds 8-15 picks past adp
QB- AR, T-Law, Maye
RB- Etienne, Jacobs, Javonte, Charb, Wright, Shipley
WR- JJ, Adams, Samuel, Worthy, Thomas JR, Downs, McMillan
TE- Freiermuth, Henry, Gesciki, Allen
TE could be stronger but apart from that I'm happy
J Herbo is dealing with plantar fasciitis. A injury to monitor because those usually linger on
Yea ive dealt with it in the past . It is not fun injury to deal with .
D-hop will miss 4 to 6 weeks due to knee injury could be minor they said
That mean he’s almost certainly out week 1 right ? 4-6 weeks doesn’t sound minor to me .
Burks back big time!
If that timeline is true, it seems more likely that he’d be back for week 1 since that’s 5.5 weeks away. Even if he misses a week or 2, it’s not a big deal.
The Hopkins dip will be nice. I also wouldn’t be surprised to see Ridley rise more, which sucks because I had been getting some 6th round on UD.
Yea he goes late 5th - or in the 6th on Dk.
I have heaps of Ridley so this news can’t be bad for me .
Yeah his DK price is about a half a round later compared to UD right now.
He’s actually been slightly falling on UD. Peaked in the 55 range and is now at 59.
