There are many examples of modified images but Trump created the opening for "fact checkers" to actually be right for once, because he didn't understand that they increased the number of people at harris rallies, they didn't make them all up like Trump mistakenly claimed.

So you can find a zillion "fact checkers" correctly pointing out that no, people actually went on the tarmac to greet Harris, even if the photos were modified to increase them.

Tbh the part related to AI could be false/misleading, in the sense that it's not obvious that AI was used to doctor the photos. not that it matters too much which exact tool was used.

There's no evidence that they were manipulated in any way as far as I can tell - do you have any actual evidence that they were are you still just parroting it without checking for yourself? There were an estimated 15,000 attendees at the airport rally (the one with the specific claims about fake images), I doubt they felt the need to digitally modify photos in any way to exaggerate that.

Also the various fact checkers are saying that Trump's generic claim that photos were altered to make the crowds look bigger is false, not just the claim that "nobody" was there is false.

Could you provide a source for the claim that there are many examples of modified images, and a source for the claim that the photos of the people on the tarmac specifically were modified to increase them please?

Trump lied as usual and in this case buried something which could have been used against Harris if used properly. Not the first time even. You realize this event was covered by many reporters, don't you? You'd think that at least one of them from Fox or Newsmax would have said, "hey, there's not that many people here".

There's no airport that would let thousands of people enter the airport perimeter, and certainly not let them all run out on the ramp like this to greet an arriving VP. They also hid the registration (tail number) to hide this, or maybe the a/c was totally faked as well.

Playbig - Ask your military "insiders" and they will tell you that the Air Force started removing tail numbers from planes a little more than a year ago.

Also, Trump came to my town four years ago. Guess where the rally was and where all the people were. That's right, at the airport and they were all on the tarmac.

Not for a blue and white, and no, when Trump did his rallies at airports, he didn't have thousands of people running out to greet the aircraft upon arrival right there on the ramp.
