2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of January. Through 95 drafts, my exposures are below. The player order is based on current ADP. Some of these ADPs have been quite fluid over the last 3 months, with FAs and rookies moving the most. Most of my exposures are structurally driven, rather than player take driven. Especially at this point in the game, pre-draft.
But there are some players I simply couldn't avoid going heavy on, like McBride and Andrews in the 5th round. I'm actually quite heavy all of the top TEs, minus LaPorta and Kincaid. I also tried to make sure I had at least 1 TE by the end of round 8, with Ferguson being the last of the group.
Also took approaches like attacking Nabers and Odunze harder than MHJ, at their relative prices.
What do we like and not like?
Rookie season is also upon us. Redraft is still 3.5 months away from heating up, but there will be rookie drafts, dynasty startups, and best ball drafts leading up until then.
Good luck to all, and may injuries and variance be kind.

What would your team look like after the trade?
Right now my starting lineup is JT, Mixon, Conner, Monty, Chase, Diontae. After trade it would be JT, Mixon, Conner, AJB, Nacua, Tee or Diontae, with the TE downgrade.
Got my 3 lottery tickets entered into tonight for DFS.
Mixon would stay not Monty, right?
Regardless idk, you’re probably winning that trade in terms of total value and I prefer WRs to RBs so I guess I’d do it
Yes, edited. I’m in trouble then because my teams are loaded with RBs! I figure they will set up trades. People always need RBs.
uh oh lol
This has been the plan all along, and they signaled it early with the camp calf injury.
Pump Russ up, make him a captain, feed his ego, etc. But behind the scenes, it’s been Justin all the way.
it just hit me that I've gotta set lineup by game time. We're back boys!
I think fields starting w1 might actually be the worst thing that can happen to ppl with Fields bags. No chance he can keep the job for 17 weeks
Drafting season has come full circle. Just saw 2.11 Rice. That’s basically where he started in the predraft contests.
RB Bryan robinson Jr is projected to get 10.73
WR DeAndre Hopkins is projected to get 10.91
WR Brian Thomas Jr is projected to get 10.76
starting the RB in the flex is lower variance, right?
Not necessarily. RBs obviously touch the ball more, and BRob should be the goal line back, but he probably needs a TD to hit his projection.
Nuk or BTJ can get there on one play.
Last one for me, very last minute casual work league
20 second timer per pick was...fun. No clue on this one.
10-team
1 QB / 2 RB / 2 WR / 1 Flex / 1 TE / D / K
Full PPR
Rice at 7.3 certainly stands out to me. I took him at pick 42 ahead of Dell, DJM, Diggs, Flowers, Deebo, Ridley but there is a greater chance I'm the dumbass instead of 6 of your co-workers
lol Rice at 7.3 is stealing. His reception o/u is 5.5 tonight.
Ha - was trying to be more gentle plus I already have Nico so Dell + Diggs were not under consideration. Lions fan so given alternatives I didn't want DJM or Deebo, had Ridley last year and his highs were followed by several lows and didn't really have an opinion on Flowers
Made my first IKB decision of the year and played Rice over London this week… wish me luck
Sit/start decisions are where champions are made and where non ball knowers are exposed.
Like clockwork, Worthy and Rice.
Played 5 lineups tonight and got Worthy in all of them 😀
Probably the only thing I'll get right.
And likely being a biggger impact in the offense than people expected
Have the Pacheco doubters changed their tune yet? Perine gonna steal his touches - lmao
****, Andy. Put Juju on the bench.
That pass pacheco gator armed ain’t helping his 3rd down rate tho
Why would we change our tune? A little early to be victory lapping lmao
