2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of January. Through 95 drafts, my exposures are below. The player order is based on current ADP. Some of these ADPs have been quite fluid over the last 3 months, with FAs and rookies moving the most. Most of my exposures are structurally driven, rather than player take driven. Especially at this point in the game, pre-draft.
But there are some players I simply couldn't avoid going heavy on, like McBride and Andrews in the 5th round. I'm actually quite heavy all of the top TEs, minus LaPorta and Kincaid. I also tried to make sure I had at least 1 TE by the end of round 8, with Ferguson being the last of the group.
Also took approaches like attacking Nabers and Odunze harder than MHJ, at their relative prices.
What do we like and not like?
Rookie season is also upon us. Redraft is still 3.5 months away from heating up, but there will be rookie drafts, dynasty startups, and best ball drafts leading up until then.

It’s not looking great for Andrews, but it was the first game and the chiefs pass rush forced them into a weird game plan. Probably need 1-2 more weeks to know for sure
If Likely gets the volume, he will easily be a top 5 TE. He's just flat out good.
If he didn't get that TD on the broken play it would have been a slightly disappointing night. I'm still happy to have quite a few shares of him. He may not really get it going until later in the year.
I have a feeling Rice is gonna be 7/100 every game.
Also seems like Hollywood is going to fit in quite nicely in this offense. Maybe not fantasy wise but irl football.
I knew tonight was gonna come down to just a few points in DFS given the soft pricing tonight. Playing Andrews and Likely in the same lineup hurt you tonight. It's a decent way to get different but not great correlation wise. I suspect when Andrews ramps it up they will cannibalize each other a bit. It will take a down game for one in order for the other to have a big game in most situations.
I threw a kicker in a couple lineups which ended up being bad. I had one defense as well.
Also seems like Hollywood is going to fit in quite nicely in this offense. Maybe not fantasy wise but irl football.
It will be Ju Ju to the bench when he gets back.
Hollywood will have some spike weeks.
Perine is gonna be a solid addition to this team.

Heard they’d use likely like a wr so thought they could both be good .
The Chiefs had one goal: stop Andrews. And Likely took advantage.

Brian Thomas Jr projected 11.06
I'm gonna start BTJ the rookie, over Hopkins the aging cripple. after seeing KC rookie go off last night, am going with the jags rookie, especially in a game that looks to be an air war vs the dolphins
dolphins are terrible defending slot receivers, so christian Kirk should have a huge day, just hoping there are enough left overs for Thomas to feast too
also betting on Gabe davis(jags 3rd WR) to suck
