Trump had simply speculated that doctors should have tested injecting disinfectants, including bleach perhaps as it worked on surfaces.

There was never any suggestion for the public, it was about "maybe we have ways to find a rapid cure", your guys built up an entire TOTALLY MADE UP narrative on that.

So your issue is not that he didn't suggest injecting bleach, it's that he wasn't encouraging people to administer it themselves, but rather have a medical professional do it, right?

Democrat media completely invented a non existing episode , the narrative that trump had suggested people to self inject bleach if they had covid, which he never did.

Now republican media (mostly on social media) is making up the narrative (completely unsubstantiated) that Haitians are eating American household cats.

Have medical professionals test that as one of the many things people were trying at the time. They tried many unconventional and ex post kinda dumb things, like sanitizing beaches.

Trump idea wasn't more absurd than the masks with holes to play wind instruments which actually happened.

First of all, injecting disinfectant is a pretty bad idea, much worse than masks with holes in. You should be able to see why.

Secondly, Trump stood in front of the whole country in live presser and suggested medical professionals should try injecting disinfectant. You don't think some of his dumb**** cult followers who think he's the second coming of Jesus might just think "wow, great idea, I should try that myself"?

I love a good "he didn't really say what he said" argument. Those are my absolute favorite. It's absolutely terrifying to watch people deny reality when it's literally on video right in front of them.

The video doesn't tell people to try to inject disinfectants into themselves. Which was the insane claim democrat media circulated (and some people still believe happened to this day).

But you live in a different reality where lockdowns worked so lol, I don't expect you to be able to watch a video and listen to the words.

Would be hysterical if it wasn't so sad. Trump should have been held responsible for that, but instead we spend our energy splitting hairs about whether he said disinfectant instead of bleach (the difference is irrelevant, the disinfectant most people have is bleach) and whether he told people to do it or not (even suggesting it in a position of power like he is in is REPREHENSIBLE).

Clue for those arguing "he didn't say exactly those words" : IT DOESN'T MATTER AND NO ONE IS SAYING HE SAID PRECISELY THOSE WORDS.
