2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of January. Through 95 drafts, my exposures are below. The player order is based on current ADP. Some of these ADPs have been quite fluid over the last 3 months, with FAs and rookies moving the most. Most of my exposures are structurally driven, rather than player take driven. Especially at this point in the game, pre-draft.
But there are some players I simply couldn't avoid going heavy on, like McBride and Andrews in the 5th round. I'm actually quite heavy all of the top TEs, minus LaPorta and Kincaid. I also tried to make sure I had at least 1 TE by the end of round 8, with Ferguson being the last of the group.
Also took approaches like attacking Nabers and Odunze harder than MHJ, at their relative prices.
What do we like and not like?
Rookie season is also upon us. Redraft is still 3.5 months away from heating up, but there will be rookie drafts, dynasty startups, and best ball drafts leading up until then.

I’d probably spend quite a bit on Likely if I was hurting on TE. I only have two leagues where is available, and they are 8/10 man leagues with short benches where I have Pitts. So I won’t be bidding. But he certainly has some nice upside ROS.
Agree with this - watched most of TNF and Likely looked really good.
I texted my buddy and said he might be a sneaky good pickup when he had 2-20. Obviously after another 7-91-1 you can take the word sneaky out but I would spend large if TE was a need.

He's been good before when Andrews was out. Now it seems he is a co starter so he is basically a WR. Andrews will get it going and limit his ceiling but he is definitely a must add.
CMC being out is amazing.

I think this is bad process by Harbaugh. Henry needs those 25-30 carries a game. You just have to keep riding him and he eventually breaks one. Don't think he's built for a split backfield.
Could be, but they also want him fresh for the playoffs. I’m guessing they’ll ride him where they see necessary, but they made it clear who is playing what role in week 1 between him and Justice.

Just won 2 matchups bc of moodys performance, including one where I had to play Braelon Allen bc of the CMC last minute not playing and needed 23 pts from moody to win
7-1 record opening week. Cannot complain
Sniped drafting Mason from the CMC owner in my league handcuffing him, what kind of haul should I target in shopping him?
Had a 1.2 point lead going into MNF and opponent had zeurlein. Still can’t believe I pulled it out. Thought I lost on the garbage td at the end but they randomly went for 2 lol

so after week 1 it appears nothing has changed over the past year aside from the LA Chargers looking good. No surprise with the coaching upgrade. Other than that, KC/SF no comment necessary, lol Panthers, lol Giants, Dallas/Philadelphia will be ok, LAR/Det with another very close game, Houston is very good again, Pittsburgh looks terrible but manages to win with a weird score, Tyreek Hill hasn't lost a step but Miami isn't a real contender, Baltimore will probably regress.
Also, Aaron Jones still elite, but I won't get used to seeing him in purple.
Other than Pitts the elite TEs not off to a great start.
Damn FD sucks now.
Not only are they including the SNF game in their main slate now. They've also increased the buy-in on their main GPP from $5 to $15 and it's only Week 2.
