The bigger you bet, the less they believe you sometimes it seems. Working on my betsizing lately cos I think at times that's the weakest part of my game.

Fish don't understand the concept of absolute hand strength, so that's why you can do this vs. them. It doesn't have much to do with bet sizing.

I have seen them do some crazy **** vs overbets as well though. Jamming pockets 8s on KT2ss etc.. There's something to it where their brain assumes you're bluffing and/or are some kind of maniac and they lash out.

I dont like flop size we block top pair a lot so size down. Turn you can even ob there is a lot of pair+draw type of hands and if you just think about it hands that pay this size will also pay a few BB more.

The fact that he is passive is bad for us otr, that means he can show up with all of QT/T7 combos, so either bet small or check.

Ofc once you see this call down take a note and just go super thin, but in general these tight 40vipp fish wont call down 100bb with such a trash.

Interesting to hear this said on these forums honestly. In years gone by most good(read:confident) players would advocate jamming here all day long I think. I hated that river obviously(would have folded vs half pot+ donk) but I feel like fish usually donk out once they make their hand.

Fish being aggro against overbets is uncommon, and it also doesn't have anything to do with a spot where a fish is just calling off his stack.

I guess I am bad and not confident.

It's getting a fish to put lots of money in the pot with a bad hand... same result isn't it.

The short answer is no, and you're just being results oriented. Don't know what else to say.

Try toning the arrogance down a bit pal and people might be a bit more receptive. You're giving off a god-complex vibe.

I love you zander. <3 none of us are perfect mate and i mean that. Just that you sound very abrupt when you comment like your opinion is law and it seems like you're talking down to people. I have been there mate back in the early 2010s we had lots of people who took that tone and a lot of what they said turned out to be nonsense. Best to keep an open mind and be open to other's thoughts and point of view, even if they're not as up to date on theory as you. Keep on keeping on man.
