I think both primaries showed problems for both candidates to be honest but when the margin of Victory for the Dems was just over 100,000 in 2020 this has to be concerning when folks will go out and vote non committed .

I think it will be very interesting to see how many Haley voters stay home rather than go out and vote for Trump. Normally a candidate tries not to totally alienate the other candidates supporters during primary season. But in this case, Trump went out of his way to say that anyone who supports Haley is not wanted or allowed in the MAGA party. If a large number of the 300k who voted for Haley in MI take him at his word, they may not show up at all.

Kari Lake in AZ tried that same approach by saying she didnt need or want any McCain republicans voting for her. She got her wish.

I don't think Trump's rhetoric toward Haley matters much. Some people who voted for her in the primaries are Democrats and some are never Trump Republicans. But I would be surprised if there were many voters in the Republican primaries who were willing to vote Trump in the general only so long as he treated their preferred candidate respectfully.

Id bet many of those 100K plus will still vote for him just as will Hikki voters vote for Trump

Lets not forget how his border policies encourage trafficking of children as well. Though he is heading to Brownsville Texas which had 48 illegal crossings this week .

Victor isn't exactly correct about Biden's border policy, but he is much closer to correct that you are.

Lets see I think Biden has let in more than 5.5 million more and his term is not done.

As well Trump did DNA testing on families to make sure the kids were actually those parents kids and not being trafficked . Joe Biden eliminated that

The average border crossing/encounters under biden are around 4x-5x what they were under trump. If biden and trump have the same policies why do you think there is this massive increase?

"the same" doesn't mean the same to Victor as it does to everyone else. In the Victionary, "same" describes everyone to the right of Victor.. How different they are from each other is irrelevant, they're all the "same".

This is sort of a local CA thing, but there is a race for Feinstein's Senate seat*, and the leading Democrat candidate (Adam Shiff) is actually doing adds for the main Republican candidate, Steve Garvey. As California has a jungle primary and the top 2 candidates face off, he is actually strategizing he has a better shot against Garvey than the second leading Democrat, Katie Porter. Which, if you understand California political demographics is obviously true.

There are actually enough Republican voters here (CA actually has more registered Republicans than any other state, although it would be Texas if they did party registrations) there is a reasonable chance a Republican could get 2nd place in a jungle primary, but not enough they would likely win a runoff against the top Democrat.

*When Feinstein died, the media didn't make a big deal about it, because they approved and didn't want to make waves, but Newsom had some local pressure on him to appoint a black woman to take the seat (I dont even remember why) and there was an older progressive black Democrat named Barbara Lee (she was basically a Black Panther, to give you an idea of her age and politics) who wanted the seat, and Newsom didn't want her to have it, because he didn't want her to have the advantage of being an incumbent when the real election happened. So instead he quietly appointed a Democratic fundraiser (who has never actually run for any office or shown any interest in doing so) who actually lives in Florida. And she quietly became the candidate and finished out the term.

I saw Katie Porter on Bill Maher a while back really sharp politician than she appeared just recently and sounded so different

As for Gavin he can be bought at any chance . His recent minimum wage decision for fast food restaurants gives a exemption to the one fast food chain owned by his friend

I saw that and thought it was funny. "Any restaurant that bakes its own bread on site is exempt from the minimum wage law because **** bakers".
