As an aside I actually read one of the papers that was posted on "X" recently. There was not real data to back up her assertion, but the basic premise of the paper was that blacks only vote Democrat because they are low information, and dont realize how little they actually align with the Democratic Party platform. Actually seemed a very plausible, interesting argument.

---In fairness you spend most of your energy attacking other posters, so putting people you disagree with on ignore would be counterproductive towards your ends. People that like to actually discuss topics and dont want to get bogged down with personal attacks might find the 'ignore' function more useful for that reason.

I have temporarily put posters, including you, on ignore when I was trying to follow a thread and they were making a lot of no content personal attack posts that were distracting and annoying.
