I read the article and it isn't clear that 85,000 children are missing. What is clear is that ~256,000 unaccompanied minors have crossed into the US in 2022 which is like 5x what it used to be (like 5 years ago).
The problem is that the children are assigned foster care places and those adults are called in about 30 days after receiving the children. The HHS says that 80% of the calls are successful (so like only 53,000 children "missing") but even if it is 85,000 children missing how is that Biden's fault? If minors who crossed the border by themselves leave foster care for whatever reason (like they actually have an illegal place to go) then why is it anyone's fault?
And for the record Trump ordered the separation of children from their parents until it was about to be taken to court and then he ordered it to be stopped. Which makes him in my opinion scum of the earth.
Biden on the other hand is working with the Senate in a bipartisan fashion to resolve border issues, Ukraine aid and Israel's Gaza conflict.
