ex-President Trump

ex-President Trump

I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?

So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at low-info Boomers like my religions aunts. I have two questions:

a) Is anyone here who supports Trump bothered by lies like this?

b) Does anyone know what he's even talking about here? Like is there some grain of truth that he's embellishing on bigly?

You are right about Norway though and it's even less defensible they don't spend 2% of GDP on defense given the monstrous revenue they get from oil and gas

The Czech republic and Italy don't border Russia.

Germany does. I don't exclude Kaliningrad where nuclear weapons are deployed.

Aren't you European? How in the world do you actually think Germany borders Russia? Even including Kaliningrad the closest Russian territory to Germany is 300+km away.

This. Seriously wtf.

I understand this and i need to qualify the statement with sea borders

Russia also has no sea border with Germany. The distance might just barely get below 300km between their territories when including territorial waters but not by much.

I might be wrong about baltic sea partitioning to be honest.

Do you have a map of sea borders in the baltic sea?

Well territorial waters stretch only 12 nautical miles (~22km) from land so most of the Baltic Sea is international waters. Exclusive economic zones stretch much further but even this has 250-300km of Polish/Danish water between Russia and Germany. There is no conceivable definition by which Germany and Russia have any sort of territorial border.

ok after confirming it elsewhere, i am ready to apologize and admit i was wrong, Germany doesn't border russia in any way so my previous comment was wrong.

President Trump took and passed a cognitive test, Biden refuses to take one. There's no comparison to these two gentlemen's cognitive ability, only a blind squirrel can't tell the difference.

This is the test you're impressed that Trump passed:

At least Luciom gave up on trying to assert that Trump is some masterful game theory strategist when he found out that Kim made a threat hours after Trump threatened fire and fury if he made another threat and did nothing about it.

Trump says a lot of crazy shiit, but Kim has done a lot of crazy shiit. That dude read Trump like a book and had Trump writing him love letters and shaking his hand 😃

So a bad leader behaves because he likes Trump hmm that doesn’t sound bad

What would be the reason they attack under democrats? They don’t like them ?

No, it's bad if the president is doing things to help Russia (and vice versa) , which is why they liked him.

Where is the record of his test? I haven't seen that.

Ye trump bombed the **** out of Syria which is very much what Putin wanted (hint:no).

He also assassinated one of the key Iran players (soleimani) which was a staunch Putin foot soldier

I doubt Biden passes that test

Do we know Trump passed it? I'm certainly not taking his word for it.

Yeah, Trump said he both aced it and that it was hard, so something's awry there.

Trump probably thought the animals were dog, unicorn, and horse. I don't think Biden nor Trump can subtract from 100 in increments of 7 in a timely fashion, but Trump will give all the answers in a very confident manner like as if no one can check him on it like he did with the 17*6 fiasco.

regardless I think there are a ton of voters who actually secretly agree with this immigration agenda to SOME extent ( small or fully) that the republicans have been on. It would be a punt on 3rd down if trump doesn't address it more in the coming months super weird of him not to be addressing it as much tbh. in stead of talking about the absolute nothingness that I assume he talks about at his rallys

‘Trump is losing it’: New scrutiny on Trump’s ‘gibberish’ at campaign rallies

what he said was less a cogent discussion of foreign policy than it was gibberish — the kind
of outrageous nonsense that flows without interruption from an empty and unreflective mind

he is incoherent.

Consider his remarks at a recent gathering of the National Rifle Association in Harrisburg, Pa.
“We have to win in November, or we’re not going to have Pennsylvania.
They’ll change the name. They’re going to change the name of Pennsylvania,”

Biden may be unable to do the job at some point in the future; Trump already is.

One of those is a lot more concerning than the other.

6 min of video and they couldn't even put 30 seconds of the worst purported incoherent gibberish in , to prove their point? lol

Trump has said he identified one of the animals as a whale. A whale has never been included on the test. No problems there.

If anyone really needs to test two individuals to see which one has a better cognitive ability over the other because they're not able to tell just by watching both of them for 10 minutes, maybe they're the ones who should get the test.

If you think a dementia test was hard and can’t be passed by 95% of people….you might have some cognitive issues.

Jared Moskowitz is an outstanding congressman. This country needs many more like him.

Trump is speaker of the house

Republicans: "We will not pass Ukraine and Israel Aid unless the bill includes border security"
Democrats: "OK, we give in", agreeing to a rather conservative border bill
Republicans: "No bill or new laws are needed to secure the border. Biden can do it by himself. We will not vote on this"
Democrats: "OK, here is a separate bill just for foreign aid"
Republicans: "We will not pass Ukraine and Israel Aid unless the bill includes border security"

Trump has always admired Russia, North Korea, and China where dictatorship,
autocratic rule, and communist rule without freedom of choice with an iron hand.
He dislikes democracy’s freedom where everyone has a voice, a vote and the freedom of choice.

Trump's long history of fawning over Putin

I can't believe politics has devolved into which geriatric senile fool is worse, but here we are.

Just looking at Trump getting a $5 million judgement against him and then months later getting an $83.3 million judgement against him for the same offense against the same person is all one needs to know that he doesn't have the temperament for the highest office in the land.

So what exactly did Trump do wrong?

He wrote down on a piece of paper what he thought his property in Florida was worth, as hundreds of thousands do every day. The bank got paid back on the loan as agreed and many industry professionals agreed with Trumps assessment regarding the value of Mara Lago. This is not a free country if this can be done to a political opponent so I highly recommend you should take that test if you really think this was right for them to do to him.

I believe it was a reference to E. Jean Carroll.

a jury found Trump liable for defamation and sexual abuse against Carroll and awarded her $5 million in damages.[5] On January 26, 2024, a second jury also found Trump liable for defamation against Carroll and awarded her an additional $83.3 million in damages.[6][7]
