Edit: RULES FOR THIS THREAD
Posting guidelines for Politics and Soci...
These are our baselines. We're not reinventing the wheel here. If you aren't sure if something is acceptable to post, its better to ask first. If you think someone is posting something that violates the above guidelines, please report it or PM me rather than responding in kind.
To reiterate some of the points:
1. No personal attacks. This is a broad instruction, but, in general, we want to focus on attacking an argument rather than the poster making it. It is fine to say a post is antisemitic; it is not okay to call someone an antisemite over and over. If you believe someone is making antisemitic posts, report them or PM me. The same goes for calling people "baby killers" and "genocide lovers". You are allowed to argue that an action supports genocide or that the consequences of certain policies results in the death of children, but we are no longer going to be speaking to one another's intentions. It is not productive to the conversation and doesn't further any debate.
2. Racist posts and other bigoted statements that target a particular group or individuals of such groups with derogatory comments are not allowed. This should not need further explanation.
3. Graphic Images need to be in spoilers with a trigger warning.
4. Wishing Harm on other posters will result in an immediate timeout.
5. Genocidal statements such as "Kill 'em all" etc, are no longer permissible in the thread.
If anyone has any questions about the above, please PM me. I don't want a discussion about the rules to derail the content of this thread. If anything needs clarifying, I will do that in this thread.
Please be aware this thread is strictly moderated
Nice pivot. But the point was that Gaza is not entirely Islamic as you repeatedly falsely claim.
Man there are some sick sick people in here. In public most zionist at least pretend like they aren't just hateful people pushing for a genocide but yeah that veneer has gotten thin.
But in here its pretty much yeah we do a genocide but i dont want you to call it a genocide also they had it coming.
pretty dark and nasty stuff.
If you would just bend the knee to every of my demands i might not have to murder you.
Got it. Maybe they could also nicely line up at a wall to be shot while they are at it?
How can you even suggest cooperation when we see exactly where cooperation gets Palestinians?
So they can trade the open fast genocide bullet by bullet to the slow suffocation in the west bank? How is that a trade off that looks enticing to anyone?
ya its pretty sick
as to bolded, well it depends on Western zionists or Israeli Zionists. the Israels just come right out and say they are gonna do genocide and celebrate it.
I saw it on a page and saw videos but it could be this event and the poster may have exaggerated
They were inside the synagogue not outside
At least most people admit Israel is responding to oct 7 attack. People in here just be like "israel be genociding for kicks" and are ignoring the hostages and the attack
Am i doing it right?
sick stuff
had been following that guy for awhile. he will probably starve to death soon if the Israelis dont track his phone first.
Victor pls put graphic images in spoilers with a warning as to content. Thanks
Yeah. But I feel even protesting outside a synagogue is something that would have been seen as verboten by the left a couple years ago. If you had said a group was outside a synagogue creating trouble you would assume it was some sort of right wing group. Now one would assume it was some combination of progressives/Muslims/Jewish cults and probably be correct.
Obviously taking it inside and troublemaking to the point police have to get involved is shifting the Overton Window even further.
LOL. Dude, the people raiding Kibbutzes and firing rockets into Israel are not your Komrades. They aren't trying to take it back to 1920 AD, they are trying to take it back to 720 AD. I know you want it to be one way, but it aint that way.
Absolutely shocked Mets would editorialize to the point of total inaccuracy. All my flabbers are gasted.
Yeah um Pro-Palestine != Pro-Hamas, the story did make the news, and also Alan Dershowitz molests children.
notice how he uses "pro Hamas " , and "stormed", he will justify it of course
never said they were my Komerarararaders. just said that a large portion of the population and resistance is not Mooslem let alone fundamentalist.
3 of the groups listed here are avowed secular
People are lolling mets while thinking it's okay to go into a synogauge to protest
Imagine jews protesting inside a mosque
The outrage would be insane
But if all you got out of it is lol mets you keep doing you
You think it’s ok to murder and starve the innocent people of Palestine
Please tell us more about the ethics of trespassing
Gaza is the location of Hamas, an international terrorist organization with hostages, launching attacks at Israel.
Miami is the location of....the Heat and Pit Bull?
One of these things is definitely not like the other, and irrelevant to the conflict.
they were protesting Alan Dershowitz, not the synagogue.
Do you think these things are bad because they kill innocent people?
"Oh Rascal Children Of Gaza" by Khaled Juma
Yeah if I'm honest I've never liked the Heat or Pit Bull. Bad is probably fair. But they aren't deadly.
Every year Israeli police storm Al-Aqsa mosque in riot gear and kill or injure people, including women and children. The last two years have been during Ramadan after far-right Jewish groups threatened to desecrate the compound with ritual animal sacrifice. These repeat violations have been cited as one of the reasons for Oct 7th attack.
But anyway, yes, just imagine the outrage etc.
There are only about 1,000 Christians remaining in Gaza, compared to 3,000 just before Hamas took over (when some very nasty Islamist terrorist attacks on Christians took place). The IDF have killed about 20 Gazan Christians in a church compound, including by tank fire, and not even the IDF seem to regard the troops' excuses as satisfactory, but it doesn't look like Hamas-ruled Gaza was a good place for Christians to be.
The protesters appear to have been South Floridian Jews, who bought tickets to the synagogue event in order to protest.
