[Bodog/Bovada/Ignition] Unofficial Thread

This thread is to separate the Bovada-related comments and questions from the Official Bodog Support Thread, which is there only for questions or concerns about anything Bodog-branded.

There is no official Bovada Rep at 2+2 at this time, but perhaps if discussion is effected in a civil manner, one might arrive in due course?

Thank you.

Here's an interaction someone had with a moderator over the rakeback issue. Honestly, these mods are some of the dumbest people alive.

The mod is right. The rakeback agreement is between the player and agent.

So just a heads up. As of right now the delay looks as bad as it did yesterday.

I've been watching two full 6-player sit n go's that match my type and my stakes for 15 minutes. Neither has gone yet.

So stay away from the sit n go's for now!

Unreal.

This was happening to me and they told me I was the ONLY one having this issue! 😂

I saw Patrick's twitter thread so I will add to this.

2022: 5.5bb/100 over 330k hands at 500NL. (all in EV adjusted)

2023: -0.2bb/100 over 250k hand at 500NL and 1000NL. (all in EV adj).

Sadly i found this thread too late now that i lost a huge percentage of my online roll on Bonition.

Ive played many forms of poker for over 20 yrs, though obviously mostly NLH and been a winning player through all that time though ive had downswings like everyone.

A newish poker room opened in town and the Omaha game is super juicy so I got really into Omaha and am doing very well.

So I decide to play Omaha online. Big mistake. By the time I realized all the collusion and bots I had already lost so much. I thought I was just running bad and I know its a high variance game of course.

But over many many examples of people back raising, flatting opens only to later 4bet, etc, getting it all in 4 ways preflop, and then postflop doing the same things pushing everyone out then i see them show down absolute garbage like 1 pair or no pair hands with no draws but together they have blockers to all the nuts. I even played a bunch of hands unconventionally just to test them out and I am 100% convinced the game is infested and unbeatable.

I guess ill go back to grinding NLH

Yea the mod is correct.

Affiliate get 50% ish for referring players and pass on 20-30% to the player.

This is why i haven’t played there since 2015 when my affiliate “went out of business” and decided it would be better if he just kept it all.

So **** him.

Bonition won’t let players retag their account, so nothing I can do and sure as **** ain’t playing same account and letting piece of **** affiliate get it all.

Ignition is still a piss easy site to play on at low stakes even though the collusion is absolutely insane. You can try to take advantage of this but obviously sometimes you just have to fold

anyone know how to fix the black screen issue on windows?

by Sisigambis P

Does anybody knows if there Is any changes on husngs?
It seems now that you can only register in one slot at the Time.

I'm having the same issue today too. Is this a glitch or some new feature?

Sngs were glitched since monday they are fixed now
So it seems this Is a new feature
I'm guessing they want regwars to improve the action (More rake for them)
Just one lobby per level/speed
After years they suddenly changed It without further notice

Im think im finally done on this site. Played 500nl reg tables and have a few posts breaking down my experience. Still have around a 5bbev/100 winrate over last 7 months but recently games have gotten even worse. Know some good counter exploits for the colluders but now it seems there are 3 or 4 on every table - dont think im winning anymore. I real shame how obvious these accounts are and nothing being done or not enough being done as its getting worse, gl guys

good to know that rakeback has basically never existed except for on a handful of sites then

Hey guys, if you have any examples of mega collusion spots on Ignition/Bovada please DM me screenshots on Twitter @mobiuspoker

200nl+ hands are preferred. Please see this thread for examples of what I mean: https://twitter.com/mobiuspoker/status/1...

Have you checked through the thread? There's quite a lot posted here.

The main problem is that a lot of recreationals (and bad regs) give waaaay too much credence to the hypothesis that the isolated hand shown isn't collusion, but just someone getting out of line. Early on lots of hands were posted here, and lots of "regs" dismissed it as just someone doing ****. If we can't convince regs in here it's going to be hard to convince the wider public.

That being said you can use any of my hands I've posted in here. If i find more i'll send them. Should also note that the bots are not nearly as obvious with their collusion now. I rarely get the bizarre river squeeze spots any more.

Do you guys think a guy who grinds only NLH MTTs on Ignition is less at risk of bots / collusion than cash players? I seem to have semi success in the MTTs and seem to be softer than wpn and global.

No, there's just more variance in mtts

It's sad for sure. But I assume if u wanted to play lower stakes things may be safe. I could be wrong and I realize everyone is trying to make millions with poker. But what are your thoughts for playing like 50 and 100 plo? Thanks

Security is ass, but did you guys see the updated St Patty's themed emojis??

Yeah actually I did, I already had to use the "Really?" a couple of times.

Hey, I felt like most of my games today in husngs felt like RTA or bots were making most of the decisions. Is there any way to actually prove this to the site so they'll ban these accounts? Otherwise, it looks like they've just killed the game format.

If you check the post two posts before yours, on X, Patrick Howard, owner of Mobius Poker, posted a bunch of collusion hands from Ignition cash games on that platform. He was on jungleman dan cates podcast recently and said that he spoke to Ignition security for over an hour on the phone but over a month ago and never heard back. So basically all you can do is try to pressure them publicly. Mobius Poker is a poker data analytics company that offers a few different products to cash players.

Very weak traffic in 200z, 30 entries at 9:30 eastern, is that typical?
I remember back a few years ago it would run from 5pm to ~5am est every night

I played on ignition four or so years ago quite a bit. Pretty normal stuff. Wtf is happening now? I have gotten back on and for like three months it's nonstop setups and crazy weird **** every day
