I code programming on my personal laptop and have Docker installed. So naturally the docker daemon is installed.
While playing, I get a pop up.
"You are not permitted to run BlackChip Poker while you have Docker running."
I close Docker Desktop but that doesn't stop the daemon so now I'm trying to figure out a way to kill the daemon and still return the game.
Why is BlackChipPoker making things so difficult???

had the same issue, got banned for a month as a result. decided not to go back to the site, the playing experience is just garbage. do update this thread if u find a solution though, think a lot of people who code will encounter this issue.
whats up with players that dont know topping up is an option ? They'll buy in for whatever amount lose about but they dont top up they just keep playing with a broken stack until its gone then rebuy for the amount they brough in for originally
Probably it is mostly recreational players.
Sometimes the auto-top up feature is broken. It is broken permanently for Blitz on mobile internet browser. Auto-top up isn't available at all for the ACR app on mobile either. And if someone is playing on mobile, the chances they are a rec are highly increased.

What about logging in using a different user profile setup not to run Docker? Curious about this as I intend to play on ACR again soon & would like to avoid this issue. One solution that I may go with to be safe is to side load Ubuntu and get rid of WSL/Docker Desktop.
anyone else having this issue.. when I click on the tourney tab the lobby freezes and the wheel just keeps spinning? tried re-downloading the software but same issue. thanks in adv.

update seems finished and I can access my client.
but the cash game and tournament settings have been cleared, I have to reset them manually.
cashier doesn't work.

the nationality of the players is back!!!
is back the feature that when a player is sitting out you can see his name (and nationality)

I think logging in with a user that doesn't have Docker start up would work.
I ended up just manually killing the docker process before I open the poker app.
gotta give 'em credit for listening to the players...and they got turbos too which is awesome
Don't you think its funny all of a sudden its back. Trust me the site does not do things just because of players feed back. They do things that benefits them.

i think they're just trying to help their reputation with that move specifically... one gripe i still have with acr among others, is that their tourny's take way too long like 10 hours is ridiculous for online play.
another thing they should put back is the hand replayer option in the client/lobby.
when you get up from the table there is no longer the possibility of reviewing the hands you have received, only when you are sitting at the table you can see the replayer and if you are sitting out you can no longer.
I play all morning I take a break I close the client I reopen it in the evening and I would like to take a look at the hands I received before, no it's not possible.
regarding the chat, for me it is not important at all, I would just put some pre established phrases to click like: nh, gg, 5 min brb especially the last one is important when playing cash games hu or there are only 3 or 4 players left at the table, at the moment one is sitting outside and maybe he just wants to go to the bathroom to pee, the others see that one is sitting out and they all stop to play and leave the table.
Does anyone know if anyone from wpn/acr actually helps anyone? I been trying to either make a new account or get my old one back for like 1 full decade maybe 5-6 times a year and they just autoban me when i put in my personal info because I have a decade old account that its impossible for me to get the info for being as I dont even remember the email i signed up with. I offer them like my ID and my ssn and my birth certificate and everything I can remember about my decade old account but its never enough to get help. All i wanna do is play on the site I dont even care about recovering any old account theres no money on it anyways. But i played on there for years and now I just get AI banned for having the same info and nobody ever helps. Promise you its like 5-6 times i year i try to contact support i fill out all the info that i can but nothing happens, I simply dont have the ability to access decade old email accounts or remember exact dates of deposits from when i was in my mid 20's. Always someone telling me yeah just fill this out we will get it situated but i dont have everything they want I guess. I suppose if you played on their site one decade ago and forget your details because of life you can just never play with your real life identity ever again. Its like im gonna have to use a friend or family members name and details or something to play on there. Shits crazy. And i dont have tons of options either cause Im a US player and then i want to come back to playing poker a few times a year and never can do it on this site. So bad

If u didn't want to be banned from the whole network do not try to open new account in the name of one of your relatives or so!
Do u have account on each skin or just on acr?!
I bet u only have on acr so u r lucky and have the option to open a new account on yapoker, blackchip or truepoker.
Way better to go with the legit route than trying to be smart and work around on shady paths.
Has it been confirmed that MTTs have been cleaned up recently and bot accounts have been banned? Is there a list of bot accounts floating around?
