I didn't say the nations wouldn't survive in some capacity. But the truth is most of these places dont have the capacity to produce their own food and have no domestic clean water sources. Yemen especially is completely worthless land where it never rains. They rely completely on food and water aid for basic survival. If/when the global order under Pax American falls, Yemen completely loses all the handouts, and most of the 60 million people living in Yemen will have to move or die.

It is actually pretty wild that a place that is so reliant on global trade and the excesses of Pax Americana is so intent on destroying their sole source of survival.

I get that you're a humanist. I get your views on the West. What I don't get is how you arrive at conclusions wrt that war knowing exactly who Vladimir Putin is. And what he's done over the years. They have remained publicly neutral. But they have maintained relations and visits with Russia and refused to ship any weapons to Ukraine.

Israel just in the last few weeks has announced they're sending equipment to Ukraine but they were staying out of it up until then. Something like 15% of Israel's population is Russian and fairly influential.

Don't forget Russia is the de-facto military force in control of Syria now.

The base hates the use of the word "illegal" to refer to illegal aliens, but Biden used it anyway in SOTU speech.
