Ukraine-Russia War Take 2

Ukraine-Russia War Take 2

Here is what the preliminary take on the Ukraine thread disappearing is:

The site was hit with a massive spam attack where hundreds of spam threads were created. In the case where, for example, I see a single spam thread and delete it, that is called a soft delete, and mods can still see them but forum members cannot. Those deletion can be undone.

When a massive attack hits with hundreds of threads, an admin uses a different procedure where the hundreds of spam threads are merged and then hard deleted, where the threads are gone, and no note is left behind. As I have mentioned with my own experience of just soft deleting a large number of posts, sometimes a post or thread gets checked or merged accidentally and is deleted by mistake. Dealing with hundreds of spam threads takes a sledgehammer, not a scalpel.

It appears that our Ukraine thread may have gotten caught up in that recent net of spam threads. If so, it is likely gone for good. I cant say this for sure, and am awaiting comments from admins on this issue. Yes, this sucks. And hopefully there was some other software glitch that caused the disappearance, and we may recover it in the future.

But in the meantime, I have created this new Ukraine-Russia War thread to enable the conversation to continue. Obviously continuity with earlier discussions will be lost. There is no way around that. So as best as possible, let's pick up the conversation with recent events and go from there.

If you have any questions about this, please post them in the mod thread, not here. Let's keep this thread going with posts about the war, not the disappearance of the old thread.

Thanks.

Chechens are in Ukraine.

Very precise.

seems pretty likely he was tied up with intelligence in some way. Epstein too ofc.

this makes sense.

you read what you want into everything anyway. I am sure you can figure out the meaning.

I cannot figure out the meaning. It is so vague that it is pretty much meaningless.

unlike pallywood, whose propaganda content is spread around usually by radical leftists sources, and so victor can feel fine publishing in the Israel thread, for Russia the propaganda/conspiracy theory content is usually pushed by radical right sources, so victor doesn't publish them but rather vaguely implies there "might" be truth in that kind of stuff

The far right and far left often meet up on topics like this, Uyghurs etc. but yeah they hate to admit it. If you look at who is voting in line with the far left's belief system it's almost entirely Trumpers. They both love strongmen.

I mean ffs him and MTG read from the same sources and post the same things.

In the event that the Chechens in Ukraine comment was about ISIS fighting for Ukraine (lol) then it's pretty much false. To begin with there's far more Chechens "fighting" for Russia, although Kadyrov does his most to look like he's fighting without actually fighting. Any loyalty there is superficial.

ISIS does NOT back the war in Ukraine, calling it "crusader vs crusader", they specifically say that fighting in this war is NOT jihad and urge Muslims on both sides to fight elsewhere. Any Chechens fighting for Ukraine are likely to be doing so for nationalist reasons.

Here's a clip from Russian-aligned Chechens from 2022:

It's funny bc I view the far right and the liberals as the same. They both love war and murder and plunder. The right is at least honest with their pure hatred of humanity. Liberals are far more snakelike.

I mean there's a wikipedia article on it ffs. Oh ya must be a conspiracy theory.

This acknowledges that there are Chechens fighting for Ukraine. That's how words work. No one is calling it a conspiracy theory. Since you didn't give any more of a statement beyond "Chechens in Ukraine" I gave more context on who they fight for and why.

There are Muslim terrorists in Gaza.

There are pacifists in Israel.

Members of the resistance are not terrorists. But yes, there are certainly terrorists in Gaza like the guys who killed this guy. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vittorio...

Likely working for Israel of course.

"According to commanders of the Chechen forces, the main goal of their participation in the Russian-Ukrainian war is to continue the long-term national struggle for independence of the Chechen people with Russia and defend the freedom of Ukraine."

Wtf

Like a Tajik in Moscow

We're talking danger, baby!

What does this tweet even mean??

I think it's a claim of a 'false flag' attack by the Russian state, though as far as we know it was a genuine IS attack which Moscow's fabled and repressive 'security state' incompetently failed to predict or prevent despite very clear warnings.

reminder that they caught a russian spy who had passport number 81751901, and later they caught another who had passport number 81751908, and so they kept an eye on the people with passport numbers 81751902 through 81751907 and they turned out to all be russian spies - they were issued with sequential passport numbers because in russia everyone is drunk all of the time and it leads to bad outcomes

It is basically true that Russians are drunk all the time and that this does explain a lot.

if Russia wasnt all drunk and stupid then imagine the damage they could do to the West.
