RE objections to Biden's policy.

I saw 3 things posted that that aren't culture war nonsense: immigration, foreign aid, taxes. I don't see any glaring issues that make him the "worst" or "evil". I'm starting to think that terminology is people trying to "bothsides" or whatever because DT was such a disastrous president.

Rhetoric is the only thing that changes nationally with regard to immigration. Sometimes presidents appear permissive toward immigration, sometimes they demonize and denigrate, but the policy has always been to allow businesses to employ these people (for less than market rate, undercutting our workforce).

The United States government always gives foreign aid. A lot of it is questionable, especially with the direct corruption (lobbying) by PACs. That said, I don't have any objection aiding Ukraine. Russia is clearly the aggressor and generally speaking bad for the planet in their current configuration.

Biden was always going to have to increase taxes or make huge cuts by the design of Trump's policy. We knew this before the 2020 election. I do see his policy leaning more toward the way of reform. They're increasing corporate taxes and those on investment type tax payers. As an advocate for the habitability of our planet, I'm glad the government is giving less money to oil companies. Experts say this will boost revenue, REDUCE GDP, and jobs in the near term.
I don't think this is great, but it's headed in the right direction. Our country grew to be the unipolar super power with corporate taxes at 40%. We put it back into the country and built the awesome public institutions we have today -- that we're dead set on destroying.

I have never referred to Biden as the worst President or evil I do not think the ones that commented have had as well. You may say that Trump has said those things about Biden as has the all the left wing media and Biden about Trump.

I think it was you who referenced women's rights which conflicts with reality. Currently many doctors and women are fleeing red states because of the oppressive policies of the right.

When it comes to abortion I agree but many women now feel unsafe competing in sports and changing in locker rooms that is a reality. Biden is forcing folks to accept an ideology that some disagree with . He has even changed Title 9 which was passed to protect women

You're a lawyer and you should already know that non-competes are unenforceable, but it does at least eliminate the dog and pony show of signing them to intimidate the ignorant workers.

When people say a president is good or bad for something they aren’t typically saying the difference between 2 presidents is night and day on that issue. For example we should expect higher oil prices under most dems who want higher oil prices than most repubs who want lower oil prices - they have some control (but nowhere near total control) on oil prices because the US has very large reserves and is a very large consumer of oil. So if a President lowers regulation on oil companies we should expect prices to go down or if a President closes drilling in some areas we should expect the price to go up.

I know there are a few nuts who Biden is evil because there are always a few nuts who think every politician is evil, but for the most part repubs haven’t called any dem politicians evil anywhere near the level dems have called repub politicians evil.

You are right that tax increases do slow economic growth and increase unemployment higher than what we would otherwise see. The only reason I believe you think Biden has to raise taxes is because the govt is still spending at the increased levels we saw because of Covid.

I have long been against 98+% of non-competes. However, there are some that I think should be legal and enforceable but there are only for business owners or people at similar levels in a company. Non-competes are utterly ridiculous for lower level or even middle management employees.

Yes, Joe has trouble reading a teleprompter and says things he isn't supposed to like the word "pause" and the phrase "repeat the line", but you have to keep in mind that most people of his age and ability are in a nursing home and have trouble remembering the names of their children. I know he has goten his wife and sister confused, but that was like one time.

Most people in his stage of life are overwhelmed by the idea of getting out of bed to walk down to the cafeteria for meals 3 times a day. So, he has trouble walking up stairs, riding a bike, reading and speaking - that doesn't mean he can't be the president of the US.
