Biden tried to give a Juneteenth speech yesterday, and it was a disaster. He has basically reached the point he cant even read off a teleprompter for a few minutes.

I have been saying this for years, but the reality is age related dementia just keeps getting progressively worse. There is no way he could go on like this 4 more years; at the pace things are going 1 more year seems optimistic.

And yes I can see Trump is on a similar progression, but he is nowhere near the stage of cognitive decline Biden is at. Most of Trump's problems are due to his moral failings, which are an aspect of his baseline personality and not indicative of any age related decline.

VPs matter more than ever this election , we still don't know Trump choice (although i am sure any name will be called an antidemocratic fascist, including Haley is she was chosen), and we all tend to agree Harris would be a disastrous president

i truly have no idea how anyone not already completely biased can think this. trump literally cant put multiple coherent sentences together even with the teleprompter. like i get that we have to grade on a curve because trump started at such a drastically lower cognitive level than biden, but still. **** is lunacy.

two days ago trump gave a speech where he said he was so smart because of his "relation to MIT" (his uncle went there i think), and then started babbling about boats sinking because of a battery and how sharks would be electrocuted..

like sure, american politics are dumb. these guys are both super old and we should have better candidates. when biden was a highschool senior trump was a highschool freshman. both are likely to rely heavily on the people around them in their respective administrations..

but you can't be taken seriously if you think Trump has more cognitive ability than Biden. you can prefer the things that trumps stands for more, that's fine. you can argue that both are diminished.. but the cognitive ability comparison argument is just a nonstarter if you want to have a serious discussion.

This shows you how delusional some of you are. Of course Trump lies and is scum but the man has rallies and speaks without a tele prompter. Biden struggles with a tele prompter . Any honest person can't say Biden would finish out his term . If he wins I would not be shocked if he stepped down to allow for the first female president .

Biden is in a bad spot. Trump is declining as well, admittedly slower.

Situation is terrible, and we still don't even know Trump VP pick (who might very well be the president soon enough).

Good thing is the republic is so strong it can actually work fairly well with a demented POTUS in charge as it worked these years .

And a demented Biden can still be better than a semi demented Trump
