Yeah just tried to log in and it's down for me too.

This is so annoying. You have to keep checking because if the connection issues last for less than 2 hours, their refund policy doesn't apply.

That said, it's almost certainly they just do refund following TOS since it's been down for a lot of people it seems.

For anyone curious, any tourneys in late reg just get tournament fee sent back as if it never happened (but not rebuys I don't think). Any tournament no longer in late reg is chip chopped, including satellites. Even if you busted a tournament that is still in late reg, you get your $ back. But yeah, it's super annoying when you're playing these tourneys that have multiple hours of late reg and you're deep in a bunch and you're EV is significantly more than what you're gonna get back + you constantly have to check back. Ugh. Processing these probably won't even be done in time for tmw.

Last time this happened, it happened the following day as well btw. So anyone on the fence about playing a long Sunday session might want to skip it. The problem is then they don't make their guarantees because people are pissed off/$ tied up can't play don't trust etc so then they nuke their own servers (allegedly, hypothetically) because they'll lose a bunch of $ otherwise. This has happened to me multiple times, including on Christmas eve when there was massive overlays on everything.

Surely if they refund everyone if a tourney is not out of late reg, then that must include all busted re-entries. Otherwise they would just be pocketing that money, no? Interesting what they deem as end of late reg. For example when it first went down about 30 mins ago, there was 15 mins left in late reg of the $215 30k. Imagine you had a starting stack but has busted 5 entries already. You either get the $1200 back or they deem late reg ended and then you get a pathetic chip chop. Yikes.

I don't think they pay out rebuys/add ons or lost bounties. I think you keep any bounties you made. Lemme check.

I think they have to. Otherwise the money disappears.

In late registration – If a regular, turbo/hyper or rebuy and add-on multi-table tournament is in late registration and is canceled, all players will receive the following compensation (including players who have busted): tournament buy-ins, rebuys, re-entries and fees back. It will be as if the tournament had never been played.
Running (after late registration has closed) – If a regular, turbo/hyper or rebuy and add-on multi-table tournament that is in a running state and not yet in the money is canceled, players that have been eliminated from the tournament will not receive any compensation for the tournament. Players that remain in the tournament will receive the following compensation: A. 1 buy-in plus fee back (no re-entries, no rebuys or add-ons). B. The remaining prize pool (all guarantees are honored) will be distributed on a percentage basis according to each player’s chip count, for example, there are 100,000 chips in play, the prize pool is $100,000. Each chip is worth $1, you have 25,000 chips when the tournament is canceled. You will receive $25,000 of the remaining prize pool. *The maximum payout cannot exceed the 1st place prize.
In the money – If a regular, turbo/hyper or rebuy and add-on multi-table tournament is in the money and is canceled; players that have been eliminated from the tournament will not receive any compensation for the tournament. also, one of my tournaments is till sort of running -- I guess I have to keep playing it? (unclear if the others are running and I just can't connect? there are people sitting out at the table)

When this happened last time, I was sitting in on about half of the tournaments and kept playing because I didn't know what would happen, but it ended up chopping them all as well (because it's incredibly unfair when half the player pool can't play for ex). You also don't know when they'll cut off the time that they chip chop or consider the servers to have started acting erratic so maybe accumulating more chips gets you more $ chip chop IDK. Seems like they should probably go by the date that they first get an email or msg saying someone's account's frozen though. You never know with ACR so you might as well keep playing until the 2 hour mark is up (which if they are still having connection issues, is when this goes into effect; however, given how many connection issues and complaints they're gonna get, I suspect they're just gonna do it regardless...) I can't get into any of my 12 tables for ex. Can't get passed the login screen.

yeah it's funny some people have been eliminated playing actually (from actually playing not just blinding out)... I guess they'll be happy to chop lol

Yeah sometimes it favors you but typically for those of us who believe we have a skill edge and often play multiple bullets and many tournaments throughout the schedule, we lose tons of EV and wasted time.

As it stands, I actually think I will lose
like 1average buy in in $ from refunds in EV eithout considering skill edge approximately, but it likely won't be here by Sunday and I don't keep a high balance on this account so it's unlikely I'll be able to play any of the mains tmw. Also annoying because I was in 2nd step of 2 multi stage satellites still in late reg but top 3 in chips in both. Also 2nd in chips in a satellite with less than 20 left paid 11 100+ runners. Top 10% stacks in 2 PKOs. Top 10 chip stack in another late reg tourney of high buy in events. Sucks that I busted all the early tournaments higher buy in events but doing well in these ones that started in the last couple hours. Sigh.

hahah I would _definitely_ have preferred to play all of these out than get the chip chops/ refunds pretty brutal

the one tournament that was still letting me play now says

My tournaments popped back up but they're frozen on the break screen. They must be canceling them all at this point. Waiting around for something to happen is so annoying .

This is all Ryan Depaolo's fault.

ACR is back up with the message "This tournament is currently suspended by the host. Thank you for your patience." "Admin: Dear players we apologize for the inconvenience. We are experiencing technical issues. Our Teams are working on it.Thank you for your patience."

Blinded down from 80bb to 30bb over the course of an hour. They really should pay out the prize pool based on stack size prior to disconnecting, but I'm expecting a buy-in refund. Just ACR things.

This, but I'm unclear about this aspect of their TOS because it's not explained. I twittered them saying the same thing (that tournaments should be considered paused from moment of FIRST players experiencing connectivity/issues because otherwise, it's massively unfair and problematic. I blinded out a lot in value during this time as well, including blinding out of one tournament completely.

My non-PKO tournament was canceled and refunded for the buy-in. PKOs still paused for now, but will likely be the same.

Edit: They just paid out the prize pool for the PKOs.

I got refunded for all mine now, including PKOs. Glad they at least took care of the refunds fast.

What time does the satty for wsop package start again? is site back up and running from last night?

Not that it matters, but none of the 10NL regular 6 max tables are working. All glitched out.
