can't win em all
Why would anyone be bothered that they are shooting down useless legislation? Its literally in the first few sentences of the memo. Its illegal for non-citizens to vote. Always has been, hopefully always will be.
The proposition is just an attempt by Republicans to lend credibility to their proven-in-court lie that the election was somehow stolen and will likely open the other end up for manipulation, just like the Gerrymandering they love to do.
It's also illegal for people to cross the border.
What's illegal doesn't matter if it's not enforced.
Aneurism?
Ok, I give up. Can't find anything good here.
"Last night, I was in Spain" as Henry VIII used to say.
Of course it's false
But the liberal msm has reported it that way so that makes it true!
How would you have the slightest insight into what is or isn't being enforced? Maybe stop reading tabloids.
I was having errant memories of Housenuts being from a Soviet border but turns out hes just Canadian
Maybe Estonia?
That’s Willi
Have you read the court transcripts?
What would the new bill accomplish? i
It also wouldn't matter if not enforced.
Per 25th Amendment
If a President steps down, the VP would be appointed by the new president, when confirmed by a majority of the House and Senate.
I don't know anything about number 2.
A qualified one , not doing crazy maga policies ?
Let’s take a factual case ?
Lise Cheney for example?
I wouldn’t minded at all .
That sounds right.
Yes
Yeah, all this stuff of painting anti-Trumpers as ardent leftists or Biden cultists is just misdirection to deflect criticism of Trump himself. I think a lot of posters here who are vehemently anti-Trump would not feel nearly as strongly about a different repub candidate, myself included.
I voted for the Rep candidate from 1980 through 2016. I would come home if they nominated someone that I could think about voting for without throwing up a little bit.
I don't see myself voting for the current form of the Republican party, but I could see myself voting for a Mitt Romney over large swathes of people in the current Democratic party. Not sure whether I would vote Romney over Biden, but it would not be an easy decision. It doesn't matter, as the Romneys and Jeb Bushes of the world are outcasts in the current-day Republican party. This is coming from somebody that has never voted for a Republican before, with my first vote in a presidential election being in 2004.
In 2019/2020 I was pretty neutral on Trump. I'm all over this very forum semi-trolling the Dems because ultimately I felt like his antics had minimal effect on my life.
Then Jan 6 happened and everything has gotten progressively worse from there.
You voted Trump in 2016?
"The thing that everyone was warning me about while I trolled them actually happened" lol. Well, at least you weren't too stubborn to see sense, unlike some others here.
So you missed where Trump's lawyers specifically brought up that he would be immune if he sent the Navy Seals to assassinate his rivals? It was even mentioned in the dissenting opinion.
You guys don’t think Bush Jr. was an awful president?
I get thinking Bush Sr. wasn’t so bad but his son was significantly worse than his father IMO.
