your numbers are weak. 500% maybe we start talking.
how are they going to appropriate all crypto?
and even if they wanted to (they can't), seems easy enough to move somewhere more friendly.
The exact same reasoning can't be applied to me, because I have a coherent viewpoint. You swing between saying it's not a danger, even if it weren't a danger you wouldn't care, it's terrible, it's bad on par with a punch in the arm, it's for crypto, it's because of war, it's because of Biden, it's for the lols. Your posts are all over the place and it's becoming too much of an effort to try and keep track of what you're waffling on about. I don't even understand what you are driving at above when you quote my question back.
Anyone that uses crypto is a domestic terrorist.
Game over.
They either force you to give up your balance or block all off-ramps. They probably already know which wallets are yours if you’ve withdrawn even once.
How can you move if your net worth is in crypto and you can’t off ramp any crypto?
Edit: PW point is valid too. You get labeled a domestic terrorist, your name gets put on a list and then what? You try to move and they apprehend you
Are you opposed to all political violence or just the variety that trump kinda/sorted/almost supported?
With biden is his current mental state I think it is fair to say that the head of the dem party at the moment (kamala) encouraged political violence. However, the biggest difference I see between the 2 parties when it comes to political violence is that dem support for political violence runs deep because many dem politicians supported the riots, supreme court intimidation and many publicly suggested their followers should confront repub politicians in public where the dems really only have trump to blame on the repub side.
Blaming biden for anything he's done in the last few years is insane. That would be like saying your spouse cheating on you becomes someone touched her in her sleep.
your question was: what % of trump dictatorship would you accept for pro crypto and lols.
i said: 100%
you called me contradictory because i previously said dictatorship is bad. that doesn't reason, because you failed to recognize the second half of that question.
it's like me asking you: what % of trump dictatorship would you accept for a billion dollars, 2 private jets, a parcel of land in alaska, hawaii and other state of your choosing, citizenship to australia and switzerland.....
then you respond with: ya that's not a bad deal. i'd take it.
and you get deemed contradictory and told your thoughts are dictatorship aren't real.
dumb.
You're not getting those things. You're getting lols and some vague notion that your crypto investments might go up in value. If you want to make this a question of degree rather than kind, I suppose you can, but it seems rather puerile to me.
to be clear this is retroactive and any of the 50m people that have previously used crypto are deemed terrorists? that would be interesting.
other countries don't have off-ramps? basically the entire world deems crypto illegal? but it is still +500% where it is today?
these scenarios are quite far fetched and ill informed. anyways guess i'll have to start planning for this situation under a trump/trudeau dictatorship.
This is depraved.
I don't think its fair to say that Democrats have encouraged political violence. Not sure what riots you are talking about that Dems supported. George Floyd? Mass majority of the protests were peaceful and there is evidence that many instances of violence were instigated by right wingers intending to incite violence. Supreme court intimidation? Thats a new one to me, but I personally think this current group of justices is incredibly corrupt and working to erode the foundations of freedom in this country, which is pretty ****ed up. It wouldn't surprise me if they faced some consequences for their actions. Asking followers to confront politicians in public is a new one to me too.
Why is it that Trump / Republicans are perceived to be more crypto-friendly than Democrats? This is reminiscent of Mason insisting that the Republicans would be friendlier toward online poker when they were the ones that killed it in the first place.
You are presenting your base case as Trump is guaranteed to add 5+ trillion dollars to Bitcoins market cap and you are poo-pooing far fetched and ill informed ideas??
Youre whole premise for being in this thread is far fetched and ill informed.

An NFT bro at a Trump rally asked Trump about Crypto and Trump had the savvy to tell the kid what he wanted to hear and it spread like wild fire across all of crypto twitter.
Crypto bros are the most malleable, dimwitted, ape brained, morons in the world so they instantly believe the pathological liar who is on the record as being anti crypto.
"He changed his mind". Again, dimwitted ape brained morons
Where did you get the idea that I'm presenting that case?
Can't Americans currently freely mine, own, and transact bitcoin?
There are pro crypto people in the Democratic ranks. Lots of good ones too. It's just unfortunate that the old guard runs the show and they are anti. I expect over time the youngs will rise to power and it will be positive on a bipartisan level.
yes but there are numerous attempts to stop that from the anti-crypto army. thankfully elizabeth warren can't get any bills passed, but she is constantly moving the overton window and getting more surveillance and controlled state topics up for discussion.
Isn't there bipartisan support for more oversight after the whole SBF debacle?
Do you have a link to the legislation she's proposing?
yes somewhat, but that support varies. FIT21 passed the House vote fairly strongly, but it's a terrible bill. it lumps in impossible tasks. essentially GOP wants the framework and oversight to be less burdensome, whereas Dems want the burdens to be impossible to comply with and max surveillance. lots of work to refine the bill to a workable level before it goes to senate. as always with politics there will be tradeoffs.
Same reason rubes in general flock to Trump.
it's endless, but here's one. just did a quick search for ya

That man has clearly never played XCOM before.
2% may as well be 20%.
I guess I'm not following your methodology very well. Ultimately it doesn't matter since you can't vote.
Its about 50/50 that he will even attempt to follow through on a campaign item and the promises he kept weren't exactly heavy hitters.
The only one that took any sort of political weight was limiting legal immigration which also resulted in us creating internment camps
My personal favorite promise kept. What a mensch
If I wanted to, I'm pretty sure I could easily vote.
