2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of January. Through 95 drafts, my exposures are below. The player order is based on current ADP. Some of these ADPs have been quite fluid over the last 3 months, with FAs and rookies moving the most. Most of my exposures are structurally driven, rather than player take driven. Especially at this point in the game, pre-draft.
But there are some players I simply couldn't avoid going heavy on, like McBride and Andrews in the 5th round. I'm actually quite heavy all of the top TEs, minus LaPorta and Kincaid. I also tried to make sure I had at least 1 TE by the end of round 8, with Ferguson being the last of the group.
Also took approaches like attacking Nabers and Odunze harder than MHJ, at their relative prices.
What do we like and not like?
Rookie season is also upon us. Redraft is still 3.5 months away from heating up, but there will be rookie drafts, dynasty startups, and best ball drafts leading up until then.

Yeah, I really don’t either. But this league is mostly the casuals of all casuals that’s been around for a while lol. So I tolerate it. My only league remaining with either.

How bad is taking ARSB over Chase ? I did it in a slow draft cause of adp and immediately regretted it .
Less of a ceiling but a better floor and wouldn’t be surprised if ARSB outscored Chase.
Chase has kind of been in the background of CD and Aiyuk, but I’m concerned about his hold out too.
I hope so. Even if they’re out there w1, I worry about the missed practice time given these dude’s costs.

I agree! Denver has some sneaky good comeback skill players with Patrick and Dulcich. Javante and Jaleel looked good tonight. Denver has some solid veteran receivers. Denver will at least be competitive this year. The Patriots could be awful. That offensive line is real bad. The WR room is ambiguous to say the least.
I have a ton of Maye and I regret it. Maybe he can overcome his situation. It's gonna be a struggle early on for him I think.

Yeah 2nd is definitely ambitious.

Rice is a completely viable Wr2, the problem is that he was going way later in much of the season.
I still like drafting him bc while it’s true that teams have better prices on him, a decent amount of those tms likely have worse prices on Hollywood, additionally as we’re getting closer to the season most of those teams likely do not have some of the emerging value plays and are also much more likely to have 0s, which is the one of if not the biggest disadvantage you can have in best ball EV wise
In timebox contests he’s the number 1 value on the entire board
Rice is a 2nd rd pick if not suspended
