Netflix "Watch Instantly"

Netflix "Watch Instantly"

I just recently rejoined Netflix and was pleased to see they have added a "Watch Instantly" feature where you can stream a movie over the internet. The selection of movies/shows is subpar, but it's free baby! Well, free as in no extra charge. You can watch 1 hour for every dollar/month your subscription is and it doesn't affect your queued/shipped movies at all. Minuses are that you have to be running Windows and Internet Explorer, but the quality is great! I have a garbage laptop, but it looks the same as a DVD to me and it hasn't skipped/paused/hiccuped once so far.

Way late to the game, but I Think You Should Leave is maybe the most uncomfortably absurd and absurdly uncomfortable skit comedy show I've ever seen.

i recently discovered this and it's the greatest skit i've ever seen

driving crooner and all of s2e3 always kills me. just learned he did an episode of The Characters, thought the first skit was funny

I had tears in my eyes on the last scene of the dinner with an old professor when the professor says there's a little boy inside of him and his wife should be in jail because that little boy goes down on her every night

I watched ep.1 when it came out and didn't really like it and quit the series.

Then last week I decided to binge episodes 2-9 and while not great, I did kinda like story threads that were developing and some of the random moments of awkwardness.

For me, the finale was terrible though and now I'm wishing I had just left it alone after ep. 1.

I agree with 1/2 of the last sentence. It was just unnecessarily ridiculous but I am actually glad that I watched the show.

I love the outrageous skits and think the show is brilliant for its absurdity. I just wish Tim Robinson wouldnt randomly shout his lines so often...

American Nightmare was pretty good.

Had no expectations going in and had never heard the story before.

I was surprised some of the events took place near where I live where usually nothing happens.

It's a documentary about some woman who got kidnapped and a bunch of bizarre circumstances surrounding what occurred.

Does it end definitively? I wanted to check it out but I don’t want to get Making A Murderer’d again lol

It has a "Gone Girl" theme, but it is conclusive in the end.

It's worth a watch.

Haha oh yeah there is a definitive ending yes.

There is a new show "Hustlers Gamblers and Crooks" on Discovery Channel, just a fun documentary style show telling stories of casino cheating and other gambling stories.

Episodes on Friday's, the first one already aired and had Mikki Mase on it, It is airing again tonight.

Lololol incredible

As someone who spent my last 2 years in the Navy at Mare Island and living in Vallejo I am not surprised at all about how incompetent the police were in American Nightmare. That town is such a ****ing shithole. We always referred to it as "the armpit of the bay area".

My one interaction with the police there was bad. I called to report some domestic violence, they said they would send someone over. They never did. I called again the next day and they said they were sorry but there was a large robbery/hostage situation at the safeway down the street so they couldn't make it over and they would try to be there soon. Called a few days later and they said they talked to the DA and they didn't feel the crime was worth doing anything about so sorry were not going to pursue this.

It closed as a Navy Base/Shipyard not long after I left in 1995. I did drop by on the way to Tahoe from SF a few years ago. Most of the buildings I was familiar with are gone. Somewhat bizarre to me that they built houses there, that place was an industrial wasteland. Was pretty funny seeing the bridge and other familiar places in the show.

Watching American nightmare and it's so frustrating watching the first episode and seeing the boyfriend talk to the police for 18 hours, take a lie detector test, and then FINALLY ask for a lawyer. After the police basically accuse him of killing her.

NEVER talk to the police without a lawyer present. EVER. It is not in your best interest and can only hurt you. Jesus, how do people not know this by now?

Wow!! This was not at all what I thought it was going to be. I figured it was about a couple that faked a kidnapping. I expected to be entertained, not infuriated lol

Halfway through Fool Me Once and really enjoying it.

Bit worried as the reviews all seem pretty mediocre, and I feel it’s definitely the type of show that could potentially completely **** the bed

Me too I like how they executed it. It put you in the mind state of the general population and the media early into the story.

These are the reasons I could never pull the trigger on the show.

Yeh will probably finish it later today. It's from a novel, so reduces the chances of writers making the story up on the fly, which I think is where a lot of these 'twisty' style shows get "Lost"...

Who pitched that idea? Who said, "Sounds good. Roll with it."?

Is it a UFC production?
