Say you want lockdowns (or say you hate them): it's a state matter. POTUS never had the power to lockdown, or to block states from locking down.

No one in the federal government should have done anything? It certainly seems to me that agencies like the CDC should have been involved.
A good part of the role of US president has come to be national leadership in ways not specifically enumerated by the constitution. It's still reasonable to expect some of that from presidents.
That was bad stuff for sure. It feels dirty voting for Trump but I'm looking more at the future. There is simply no way Biden can continue as President. Both of my parents had dementia. Things go down hill fast.
I'm more worried about the future with Trump continuing as president after the end of his elected term.
Both guys clearly rely on others more than most presidents have, which I think is a good thing. Unfortunately this next time the sane Trump advisors probably won't be in the building.
Bring in the National guards and use overwhelming force to quickly clear the camps. Detain as many of these people as possible and vet their reasons for being in the country as well as current status. Deport those who either don't belong here or don't swear allegiance to the country. Pass on the names of these individuals to Mossad. Look into possible future restrictions of certain people into this country.
They are finally waking up in Europe and taking action. It's becoming apparent we need to do the same here. I believe Donald J Trump is just the man for the job.

I don't know who you are referring to regarding deportation. It's my understanding that most of these people were native-born students at fancy colleges.

My complaint about Trump is that he clearly lacked leadership during the pandemic. He had an opportunity to bring the country together against a common enemy and did the exact opposite. It's obvious that everything he did was based on how it would impact the election. I have many more complaints but I won't derail this thread.

He spearheaded vaccine research with an ingenious plan (which costed very little), which included some cash and a lot of deregulation , proving btw deregulation saves lives (and regulation kills people), it's hard to ask more from POTUS

They don't give the men/women breakdowns but we can assume (as for every other voting group) that men are relatively more likely to vote Trump and viceversa.
It's possible that Trump is going to get the most votes among working age black men of any republican candidate since like ever.

The founder of the modern conservative movement literally had Alzheimer’s while in office. Didn’t really have any impact on his performance. The country is set up to handle this type of stuff much better than Trump trying to fire FBI directors for investigating his friends, bribing foreign leaders to start sham investigations against US citizens to help his campaign, secretly calling election officials and requesting them to rig an election in his favor etc.
