To state the obvious, it would take more than a massive boycott to create the conundrum you are imagining. It would take a complete boycott. if only 99.9% of people boycotted, then they would just count the votes as usual.

The only certainly in the 2024 election is that the voting laws in MAGA-controlled states have been changed to allow voting results to be thrown out if the MAGA controlled state government doesn't like the results. In other words, no one other than TRUMP is winning any of those states (which would include any REAL Republican candidates but I am not aware of any) no matter what the votes are.
#lizcheney2028 one of the few honest American politicians left. and Trump's recent statement she should be executed on public TV only makes this point of view more correct. but this country will probably be destroyed from within by then.

I think as individuals we should be grateful for our good fortune to be born in the modern US. Even if you make 30k, you have so much that most people have not had. You will never experience something like a famine, or the local war lord raping you wife and daughter and cutting off your hands. This does not conflict with recognizing that some stuff is pretty bad and we can improve it.
Also it's not just the poor who get screwed. Many are 1 disaster from ruin. If I broke my arm even, i might be out $9k. That's with $350/mo insurance. You don't have to be poor for that to be a major blow.
Imagine you have put sside 2k a year for JR's college and they just steal 4 anda half years worth cuz you fell down the stairs.
