trump is a part of the fascist system that is American society

This is what I am talking about, people. Complete nonsense that allows the right to say "this is what the delusional left actually believes."

by rickroll P

see guys, you can say disparaging things about trump while using valid and real terms instead just defaulting to fake descriptions of fascism

I asked for your definition of fascism.
If you don't have one, then I don't know why this bothers you.

The Wikipedia image posted by PW adequately defines Fascism.

PW isn't even on the left. He's his own group.

because

it's pretty straightforward to the point i didn't realize that was a genuine question because it's not at all a subjective exercise in the core

hard agree, but donk's point is still valid

We have legalized slavery in America. Cops can kill Americans without repercussions. Billionaires payless in taxes than the average person.

I could continue but there’s no reason. Those three things are enough to prove a fascist society.

Cool. All we foot to do is get every single person in the country to not say stupid stuff like that, then the right will run out of flawed arguments.

Incredible how the right wing of American politics has devolved into aggressively refusing to understand ordinary words in ordinary context. "Fascism? What? I can't see how overturning an election is fascist?!?"

Bribing the judiciary so that you can do whatever you’d like without repercussions?

That’s not fascism!

when the Repubs round up immigrants, increase surveillance, do genocide overseas, roll back rights, steal money then its fascism. when the Dems do it then its "defending democracy".

no its fascism when the dems do it too.

We keep kids in cages for godsakes. AOC went to the border and started fake crying when trump was in charge....why didnt she keep that same energy for biden?

yes hence the scare quotes

It is incredible how people that think they are smarter than everybody around them refuse to understand ordinary words in ordinary context. "Fascism? Why, that means whatever I want it to mean! You see, Hitler was bad and Trump is bad, therefore they are both Fascist! Don't tell me I cannot redefine words whenever I find it convenient, unless you are also a Fascist!"

In case you forgot.

You don’t think Trump fits the definition? Argue why not

you dont think Biden fits that description?

Have you seriously not read your own post?

1. Is most of the power in this country held by one ruler or small group under a single party?

2. Are we living in a one-party state?

3. Is the economy heavily and closely controlled by the government for the purpose of national unity? Does the government of the United States do anything to force national unity?

4. Has this country ever had anything resembling authoritarian corporatism? ("Authoritarian corporatism is a form of corporatism, where the state forces everyone to join one of a limited number of corporations. The state also defines the goals these corporations try to achieve.")

5. Is there a government policy of violence directed toward domestic political enemies?

These are the elements in the image that you posted. The answer to every single one of those questions is a resounding NO.

donk, you're forgetting that stupid people can argue that is indeed what's happening and they actually believe it

U don’t have to use Godwin point, just Mussolini is enough shrug .

I mean there are lots of educated people that consider democrats and republicans one party.

And Trump did try to usurp power to make it one party but let’s ignore that.

Besides the one party

3. Is the economy heavily controlled by the govt for the purpose of national unity? Yes this is why we bailout company’s and the stock market and make it illegal for the small guy to win. See GameStop for example

4. Another point about economics. We are arguing mostly about the authoritarian part of fascism. Do you have any arguments against that?

5. Is there a govt policy of violence directed towards domestic political enemies ?

Yes, black panthers , BLM, and the capital protestors. Animal rights activists and environmental activists and whistle blowers are all political enemies of the state that the state targets.

And the whole thing where MAGA conspired for months with white supremacists, nazis, and a whole host of other fascists to stage a coup on January 6 2021.

You have a right to protest. The govt went after everyone that attended with reckless abandon. It was so bad the Supreme Court had to get involved. 500 people got charged with the same charge and I feel like 90% of them will get that charged dropped on appeal

The govt harassed and likely killed MLK, Malcom X and other black liberation activists that I can’t name off of the top of my tongue.

Authoritarian or fascism, they are both extremely bad and not in accordance with US freedom ideology.
And yet the “freedom caucus” from the “freedom party” called Republican espouse it with both arms .

They want less power for the government and yet they enjoy an immune president decision from the SC .

I just don’t understand these peoples.

Which educated person considers the Democratic and Republican parties to be one party? Do they teach that in the ninth or tenth year of college?

The rest of your post is just completely incoherent. You must be so blinded by your hatred of America that you are having trouble thinking straight.

noam chomsky, one of the smartest humans in the world.

https://chomsky.info/20081010/

"In the US, there is basically one party - the business party. It has two factions, called Democrats and Republicans, which are somewhat different but carry out variations on the same policies. By and large, I am opposed to those policies. As is most of the population."

I love america, prob more than you do. My family helped found the country, I lost a relative in the revolutionary war and I come from a long line of people who have served in the military.

In addition to that, I have a finance degree. What kind of degree do you have?
