I dont think anyone really needs American or British style "liberal democracy". from what I can tell its pretty evil.
Democracy is bullshit but it's the least bad bullshit we have. I don't think it's the system of democracy that's the problem with these two countries, but that they're the most recent large empires (or behave like imperialists), and people/states really don't like letting go of power and influence.
Sadly, I'm probably older than all three of those kids put together.

JD Vance went by James Hamel through high school, through the Marine Corps (in public affairs, where he wrote articles for the Marine Corps Times as Jim Hamel), then attended Ohio State University, Yale Law. He then went to Silicon Valley, California, where he was a venture capitalist (also known as a corporate raider). While in California, he worked for GOP mega doner, Peter Thiel.
At the age of 33, James Hamel married, and at that time he changed his name to JD Vance, taking his mother’s maiden name.

Like a lot of people, I read Hillbilly Elegy when it came out. The book is total nonsense. He tries to portray himself as this underdog that came from some super poor background, but his upbringing is the same as pretty much every single middle class Millennial out there. Not too surprising that Trump picks another charlatan, just like himself.
