The above Electoral College projected map has remained consistent for many many months. My two immediate tweaks would be to move Georgia from light GOP pink to damn near neutral. That GA 16 point shift is important, especially if we give it to the Dems. That one move shifts things from 216 Dem - 251 GOP to a literal toss up of 232 Dem - 235 GOP. And I've said that I would not be surprised if the powers that be decide the best VP for Harris would be to trying to keep medium pink GOP Ohio in play and pick Sherrod Brown as her VP. So Trump's VP would be Ohio's Vance and Harris' VP would be Ohio's Brown. And those Ohio favorite son's are are close enough to keep MN, WI, MI and PA in play.

It is completely consistent to think that Trump is too old to run while Biden is not. Biden has a history of consulting his advisors and doing what he is advised, Trump is likely to do whatever he wants.

Trump is unfit regardless of his age, it's just an extra factor.

The must win states are Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, Shapiro in theory delivers Pennsylvania. I like Whitmer but a woman/woman ticket isn’t winning

Kelly and Bashear make little strategic sense and the Dems finally seem to be realizing it’s no time to **** around anymore. Kelly is the only other option I think may happen but man that just leaves you too vulnerable

Considering how thin a majority the Dems have in the Senate, picking a Dem senator from a battleground or GOP state seems like an excellent way to punt a shot at replacing Alito/Thomas on the SC next term

AZ's Kelly is the only Dem senator seriously being talked about

the AZ governor is a Dem

the argument for kelly is that he's everything the republicans try to attack the dems for not being.. he's former military, he was an astronaut, AZ is a swing state, he's a "moderate", he's white, straight and christian.

he's basically the perfect compliment to Harris.

It would make the dems defend the seat in 26 instead of 28 which isn't nothing.

Dems need a clean sweep to really do anything important, and we know America is dumb enough to push backwards in 26 even if they do get the sweep, and that would be an easy one to lose.

Ya the more I think about it it’s either Shapiro or Kelly

And ya, I think Kelly compliments Harris’s blind spots more.
