i remember when he had covid and a link to him live streaming trading from the hospital was shared in the thread and so i clicked it and whenever a nurse or doctor entered his room to try to give him medical care he'd yell at them to leave because he was streaming and repeatedly called them fiat cucks

was the point where i realized that guy had lost grip with reality

He literally called them "fat cucks"? Lol. Maybe he meant "cat ****s"? Not even sure what would make more sense.

Fiat

Oh, we're talking about AWice? I thought we were talking about Trump! lol

****, what if horsenut is an AWice alt? Things that make you go hmmm.

How did he make so much money? Early bitcoin adopter? I seem to remember him posting here like 10-15 years ago (2+2 in general that is, not politics specifically).

Bitcoin and he bet the farm on Trump in 2016.

67 milly is crazy tho. Especially to lose that trading in 3 days, means he has at least what 3x-5x that?

no, fiat, as in fiat currency - which is 10000x more hilarious

he was a live tourney reg, a lot of those guys would keep 6 figure bankrolls in crypto so it was easy to travel globally and not worry about customs and safety of boarding planes with tens of thousands for entry fees going there and winnings for going home - they just travel to the place and do an in person exchange before and after the tourney series

along the way crypto went up 10,000x and boom they all have generational wealth - why so many of the crushers from around 15 years ago no longer play poker

awice

lol good one

awice

lol yeah that's 100% what happened to him

had over a billion, lost it all trying to spin it up into hundreds of billions - wonder what he was at during his peak - i know at one point he was the single largest trader on ftx

Did he lose anything on FTX going under?

he did a video blog thing where he said he lost more than 99% of what was once a nine figure net worth by quadrupling down on leveraged solana forwards or some dumb ****. i think it was the terra luna car crash that wiped him out but might be misremembering that part

Damn man, he would win the BBV degen thread for sure.

I mean, he also lies constantly so who knows what his finances are really like.

I guess it’s a simple case of not understanding the utility function value of money to the extreme .

by d2_e4 P

Did he lose anything on FTX going under?

i didn't follow him directly so this could be wrong - just mostly following the gossip about him in the various crypto threads

he never showed specifics - but that was reasonable, when you're tweeting about billions in crypto you don't want to give out enough info where someone can hack it or just kidnap you so that made a lot of sense to talk about positions instead of showing proof of positions

he always bought on absurd levels of margin

multiple times he'd publicly state his positions and mention "if it goes down by 15% i'm wiped" and then within a week or two it nose dives by 30%

so there's a bit of a "was he being honest about his position" and if so did he exaggerate the 100% of networth position claim or just make it up? IE was he only 10% of his roll in that position or did it not even exist in the first place?

but he was indeed the biggest volume trader on ftx at some point, that is indisputable so it's possible

but anyway - and i could 100% be mistaken, but when crypto took it's last nose dive he stopped posting on 2p2 and didn't post as much anymore on twitter etc and stopped posting about his positions and when he did post it was usually trying to sell merch or get someone to to literally sell merch on his behalf at various crypto conferences without compensation - not exactly the actions of a billionaire

then when ftx kicked the bucket less than a year later, he claimed that wiped him, but it felt super convenient, like a face saving way to explain why busto

i'm sure he must have taken some out, it's be insane not to, but he always claimed he was 100% all in and it was only going up and only a stupid cuck wouldn't be - and his #1 ftx credentials do somewhat support that he did indeed follow that mantra

polyscam is pretty lol, but you cannot beat watching maga'ts lose money in real time.

by d2_e4 P

So that dude has >2m USD on Trump to win and the other dude has >500k on him to lose? Am I reading that right?

The way I read it , they have 4m and more than 1m on those bets yes

Interesting. I mean, I get the part about not posting too much info but lol @that saving him from getting kidnapped. If someone were going to kidnap him for ransom, I doubt they care how much proof he posted - it's indisputable the dude had a few milly available to pay a ransom.

What's the scam?

Divide by 2 roughly to work out what they staked, as discussed above.

Ye sure, the numbers are the payout if their bets come true
