And this happens the same day Obama has a very moderate and reasonable message, that doesn't spare criticism to Trump, but does so in a dignified manner, so it's not like she had to do this

Michelle Obama’s speech wasn’t that great for me because she has no policy expertise and it clearly shows, just like Doug’s speech, but that’s such a disingenuous attack dude.
Illegal immigrants and in general unskilled immigrants DO take uneducated native jobs, it's uncontroversial in literature. They take them and/or decrease the wages in those sectors that can use a lot of that kind of labour.
It's true for all ethnicities but more often for blacks because they are less educated on average. And that's a way to try to tell black people that deportion of illegals help them. And it's actually true, it's people with different jobs that lose out if mass deportations happen, not uneducated blacks.
A response can be to educate blacks more, or to create conditions for so many jobs to exist that it doesn't matter if immigrants take a portion of them and so on. Her response was "let's try to stir racial animous even more". And coming from a person who unapologetically defended BLM riots, it's not nice. Let me remember that she invented the "mostly peaceful" insanity to describe the riots.
We don't have much data but, presumably, shouldn't Harris father come from decent money just because he was able to study in London and then at Berkley being Jamaican? how does a 20 y old Jamaican in 1958 manage to get to study in London without very significant for the time (ie top5% at the very least in Jamaica) family money? maybe there were free programs or something i am not aware about
There's an incredible free program called "being a teaching/research assistant" that many 20-something grad students avail themselves of.

Serious question because I don't know the data on this... but how many Republicans come from a community organizer background? Or from public service job of any kind outside military enlistment?
It seems like this should be an important point for Rural American Republicans, no? How will people represent you properly, if they come from inherited wealth, Ivy League educations, or groomed think tanks?
