There is no clear indication that this will happen if Trump is elected. There is no clear indication that this will become official Republican policy as you claim above. Simply because he said he would do it the last time he was President and he didn't do it. In fact there were fewer deportations of illegal aliens during Trump than under the first 4 years of Obama and also the last 4 years as well.

So when you say "and it isn't policy now, but Trump promises it will be." somehow you don't get that Trump lies all the time about everything. And yet you continue to call us liars here. What you are saying is just not true. But I think I understand why you will never admit you are wrong. Its just who you are.

The ideology people find in MAGA and Trumpism is more their own interpretations than anything of actual substance. They scour tweets, knock-off tweets and oneliners hidden in Trump's word salads for mystic meaning, and then eagerly explain to everyone else (including the people who really don't want to listen to the nonsense) what it actually means.

Actual substance does not exist of course. This year MAGA and the GOP killed their own borderbill, twice. Yet, they are campaigning on borders.

Dems campaigned on immigration for years and then tried to pass what you just described as a Republican MAGA border bill. Make it make sense.

There is plenty of room to be pro immigration without supporting open borders controlled by drug cartels with millions of undocumented persons crossing every year.

What else would They campaign for if not the borders .

They changed their view because the problem got worse when they got into power. If you look at illegal immigration and refugee applications throughout the world, they are up significantly since the 2016 campaign. I don’t think it’s bad to update your beliefs based on new information.

Seeking asylum is an internationally accepted human right. Being an immigrant is not an internationally accepted human right. Good treatment of immigrants is an internationally accepted human right. Legal immigration is an internationally agreed upon expectation.

If you want to get mad at anyone for the Democrats going tough on the border, blame the illegal immigrants and drug cartels that have been abusing our borders for too long. Now there’s consensus on the issue that the dems can’t ignore.

Both candidates support eliminating tax on tips which makes no sense to me other than it being a bribe for votes for those who depend on tips. Why should tip be treated differently than other earned incomes.

Aren’t a lot of businesses going to reduce their fees/prices and set mandatory tips? Why wouldn’t plumbers reduce their fees by 20% and require a 25% tip as the customer would pay the same amount but 20% of the plumbers income would be tax free?

Also, if someone is getting tax free income for no good reason it seems reasonable to reduce your average tip amount to account for the tax savings for server/valet/bartender/etc. , right?

He said that during the time where immigration was well controlled and crime rates for the illegal and legal immigrants were far lower than native population. Now the illegal immigrant to native population crime rate is much closer as a ratio, although illegal immigrant crime rate is still lower and legal immigrant much lower.

Furthermore, he was implying that the Mexican government and South America were deliberately sending criminals over the border, or which there is absolutely no evidence for, still to this day. However what if in the future we find that this IS happening? Then why would it be wrong to say what Trump says?
