Netflix "Watch Instantly"

Netflix "Watch Instantly"

I just recently rejoined Netflix and was pleased to see they have added a "Watch Instantly" feature where you can stream a movie over the internet. The selection of movies/shows is subpar, but it's free baby! Well, free as in no extra charge. You can watch 1 hour for every dollar/month your subscription is and it doesn't affect your queued/shipped movies at all. Minuses are that you have to be running Windows and Internet Explorer, but the quality is great! I have a garbage laptop, but it looks the same as a DVD to me and it hasn't skipped/paused/hiccuped once so far.

Prince documentary we might never see

Great article thanks for the link, would love to see this doc

Been watching in the background Eugene Levy's travel documentary, The Reluctant Traveller.

Kinda like An Idiot Abroad meets Curb Your Enthusiasm. Fun show.

I’m obviously an exception as he’s immensely popular but I don’t think Adam Sandler is funny, his standup isn’t good and his comedy movies are bad. He’s only good when he’s playing a socially awkward person that he probably truly is deep down like in PDL or some of his SNL skits. He seems like a really good down to earth guy, loyal to his friends, good business man. I’d like to hang with him and be friends with him as long as we don’t have to watch his comedy.

+1 ^^ DaNit

Rebel Ridge is a bunch of plot holes and silliness, but it's entertaining. lol

[QUOTE=hansmolman;58710309]Enjoyed this movie. Don Johnson is great.

Put Jeremy Saulnier's earlier movies on your to watch list. His 1st (Murder Party) is a bit rough (low budget), but Blue Ruin and Green Room are excellent.

Is this supposed a counter argument to what I stated. I’m sorry but that was terrible.

I'm with you. I don't understand how people think he's funny but he's not my kind of humor. He seems like he is a VERY nice dude which I think gives him some tenure at this point in his career.

lololololol no

but that was literally the funniest thing i ever heard when it came out and I was 11

it's that cd which guaranteed the success of his film career

we were an instant audience the minute we learned he had some movies coming out

didn't hurt that billy madison and happy gilmour are two all-time great silly comedies - but even if those movies sucked we would have watched them

I went to Sandler’s rock concert back in like ‘96 or ‘97 and it was a blast. 4th row, center! I had a Pittsburgh Penguins hat that I threw to him, he caught, said “Penguin” like he did in Billy Madison, put it on, threw me his hat and went on with the show!

9 more days! I have to re-watch The Batman before this.

I’ll be interested to see how long they can run with the concept. First episode had some jokes I’d heard before, 2nd episode was very good.

3rd was even better. I'll give pretty much any single-cam sitcom at least a few episodes and I wasn't sure how many I'd give after the first episode, but after 2 and especially 3, I'm in for the season no doubt. Show is sharp as ****!

Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist - Finished the first 3 episodes, it's decently good, a lot of big actors. Next episode on Friday looks to get a lot better after the happenings of episode 3.

Completely agree.

The Night Agent has a fun premise, but the acting is bad, and the plot is preposterous. Pass.

The story is ludicrous. You can imagine where it goes from here.

Yeah. I typically can suspend disbelief well enough to get me through this sort of show, but I'm done.

The first 2 episodes of The Old Man season 2 are good, they like the cliffhangers at the end of each episode. lol

I made it through it and remember thinking "thank god that's over."

I very much believe you.
