Netflix "Watch Instantly"
I just recently rejoined Netflix and was pleased to see they have added a "Watch Instantly" feature where you can stream a movie over the internet. The selection of movies/shows is subpar, but it's free baby! Well, free as in no extra charge. You can watch 1 hour for every dollar/month your subscription is and it doesn't affect your queued/shipped movies at all. Minuses are that you have to be running Windows and Internet Explorer, but the quality is great! I have a garbage laptop, but it looks the same as a DVD to me and it hasn't skipped/paused/hiccuped once so far.

I’ll probably end up watching that but what the hell is up with that header picture?? I know it’s Ryan Murphy but…. Dude… they’re brothers…..
Maybe you don't know the full story.... lol
I'm 5 minutes into the Menendez one and already laughing at the brothers.
And the Dahmer one was, um, something.
My system for getting the best out of Joe Rogan's podcasts, is carefully nitpicking who his guest is/subject at hand. He is the nuts as far as MMA podcasts goes - of course, it is a niche audience -, but I do tend to avoid his more politically inclined interviews though
Rick, I noticed that you are a temp-ban once again : watch out when trying to induce a semblance of rationality to those power tripping mods 😉
The new Matlock with Kathy Bates, Beau Bridges and Jason Ritter is decent enough. Big reveal for direction of the show at the end of episode 1 that will make it interesting. Episode 2 not until October 17th.
That was a good, and very necessary, hook at the end of the ep. I don’t think I would have continued otherwise.
The wife and I are watching ZeroZeroZero. It is very ho-hum and we really don't know what's going on. It's only eight episodes I believe but it seems like a couple of episodes so far aren't even about the main storyline and I'm not sure why they exist. Maybe to get it to eight episodes. Also, the acting is VERY bad.
i loved ZeroZeroZero
I made it to the therapist scene like 10-15 minutes in and nope’d out just before their session. The whole thing was just… annoying.
There are rumors that Ryan Murphy’s next show is about Ed Gein, so that might be interesting.
I'm 6 episodes into the Menendez series and episode 5 was one of the most disturbing things I have ever watched. What a ****ed up family.
It was really sad and tough to watch. Brutal ****, which I’m guessing is mostly, if not all, true.
Oh wow… From the way it starts, it seemed like it was almost satirical. If it actually stops being how it was in the beginning of episode 1 by the end of it, I may give it another shot.
There is several pieces of new evidence that could get them released, they have been in prison 34 years.
I couldn't believe when I saw you bailed so quick.
I got that vibe from the beginning too. But I think the producers went that route just because of how ****ed up this situation was. And to set the mood of the sons not really having any remorse, but the further I watch, the more I understand why. I’m in episode 6 too.
I did find the background primary music they kept using for transitions as an odd choice, which also gave off a satirical vibe.
You should give it another try.
The freaking sad-sax for the first song, then into Milli Vinilli was…. Then the funeral…. I was like wtf am I watching….
I start up again. I was interested in the subject regardless.
That funeral scene was wild.
You probably didn’t even get to the transition music I was referring to before turning it off.
Definitely an interesting story.
Same
The Milli Vinilli stuff was hilarious.
"girl I'm gonna miss you......"
So, yeah….. I should’ve stuck around to watch that actual first scene with the shrink… That was a hell of a switch in tone from that point on. **** got daaaark!!
Netflix is releasing a documentary in a few weeks.
Apparently that was not a dramatic addition. I read that song was played at the actual funeral. I did laugh watching it, since it was so uncomfortable just watching the dramatization. I can't even imagine at the real life funeral.
I looked up the new evidence after I finished the show. Interesting stuff.
