trump recognising jerusalem as the capital of israel despite protests from everyone including best mate united kingdom is a good indication of what he thinks of palestinian interests in the peace process
name some of those "policies".
i assume it's a joke. BJ is a trumper. Biden is not doing what he should on Israel. But Trump would be full fledged cheering both BIBI and Putin on.
What? This post is even more stupid than your last one. Have you got any evidence to back up this insane drivel? Please provide it if you have.
And you still can't read by the way.
vote blue bc the Dems genocides arent as bad as Trumps. pretty amazing discourse from the BlueMaga.
Exactly
Vote blue because believing the U.S. stance on Gaza would change with trump is hor$e$h!t …
Call genocideUS fine , call genocide joe lol.
Is there a competition to see who can post the most gibberish today or something?
they keep doing the 99% Hitler meme
Why is it that in the US the left tends to support Palestine and the right tends to support Israel?
I hope I'm not just imagining this and it isn't too stupid of a question.
But isn’t Biden supporting Israel by doing genocide in Gaza ?
You saying Biden is a right wing politician ?
Where do u stand on this ?
I'd say in North America there definitely a stronger bias towards Israel the farther right you go, and the shift to bias towards Palestine doesn't come at the center, but somewhat to the left - quite a bit more so in the US than Canada. Not sure if this is a European phenomenon as well.
left: anti-imperialist, anti-west, anti-semitic, anti-capitalism
right: anti-muslim, anti-brown people, plus quite a few people who want to bring about the eschatological annihilation of the unworthy by getting a correctly coloured cow into the right part of the middle east
"brown people bad" is like a core rightside US political value. it might be one of the ONLY right values left
The "left" sees Palestine (Gaza in particular) as an occupation- the powerful (Israel), subjugate the weak (Gaza). as the left is generally anti current power structures and subjugation they are against it
The "right" sees Palestine (Gaza in particular) as hosting and formenting a terrorist force against a rightful ruler (Israel), who generally stands alongside the right against the "enemies" of the right- communists; islamists etc.
Is Israel swung back to being communist I think the right would be less likely to support Palestine (and vice versa.)
I don't think it's the core value in 2024 - especially if trump wins this round again. The gop is picking up Latino men and older minorities despite trumps rhetoric and the racist whites.
he's said he wants to start the biggest deportation event in history on day 1.
people being stupid and voting stupid doesn't change the core values.
Maybe its still the leading core value, but that value alone doesn't get trump in the WH in 2024 no matter how hard racists press the vote button. Trump has an uncanny ability, with the help of the media to take basically any issue and give out the perception that he'd be better at it than the dems. And that ability to do so is more powerful than we give credit to - which is why he can say that he is going to deport everyone and not go down I'm the polls.
that's what conmen are good at. you are describing a conman. trump is bad at many things including governing, running profitable businesses, being a decent human being, but he's a very gifted conman. and confidence is key to winning over dumb people.
I would frame this sentiment a bit differently. Trump has an uncanny ability to convince people--not all people, but enough people--that what they perceive as the bad parts are just talk.
Trump's is highly delusional and paranoid, of course, but he is relatively transparent.
His excessive self-praise is a reflection of his actual narcissism. His instinct to demean women is a reflection of his actual views about women. His public contempt for the press reflects his actual low regard for the media. In Trump's mind, the proper aim of media should be to fluff him and attack his enemies. Nothing else.
And when Trump talks about what he wants to do to the executive branch specifically and government generally, he isn't bluffing. He means it.
I don't see a mass deportation event as a bad thing as long as we increase legal immigration once illegal immigration is under control. Under normal circumstance I think a mass deportation event would be a terrible thing for any country, but these last 4 years have been anything but normal when it comes to immigration. There are still a lot of cities that are struggling to take care of this massive influx.
so brown people out->non brown people in is your solution. that's pretty on brand and proving the point.
why bother with all that expense since you seem to try and pretend your fiscally conservative. just give everyone that's already here tax ID numbers and get them on the path to citizenship and paying into the tax base.
Yep. This is far more treasonous than anything Trump has been accused of doing.
now that is for the fringe conspiracy thread. lol.
Most things maga belong there.
I know the Daily Mail can be tabloidish but you think they just made that story up whole cloth or what is your take?
